Do you use regular white flour for this? I mean, the sort that goes by the name Type 405 in Germany? I'm thinking of using whole wheat flour instead... Would that work, you think, and if so, with what modifications? Thanks so much for your time! I love your channel, by the way!
I have used all kinds of flour, for this bread, all purpose, tipo 00, they are all good! Whole wheat flour is a little tricky, try doing half whole with half regular and add a little more water when using whole wheat flour, so it`s not dry. I think I`ll try one myself to see 👌
@@Delicious1 so if you made it sticky with your wet hands, then sift it, then pour water on it to mix, what was the point of sifting it? there is none. why bread bakers don't sift flour, other than for decoration on the top of a loaf.

Why are baguettes hard to get right though? Do u have a video on that? I haven't seen it.
Because they don`t fit in a dutch oven 😀
I don`t have an video making baguettes, but it`s on my list now!
@@Delicious1lol I agree. Dutch ovens are pretty awesome. Yay its on your list! Thank you😁🎉

@@Delicious1 Thanks for these great tips! I followed one of your Dutch Oven roast chicken recipes recently and it turned out excellent!
Thank you, so happy to hear that! ❤
sifting flour is pointless,
any real bread baker will tell you that.
That depends, sometimes when I handle it with wet hands from the bag, I need to sift it. But in general yes, I don`t see a difference.

there is none.

I always sift opened and used packages with flour and trust me, sometimes I find stuff I don`t want in my food!
@theboringchannel2027 Heads up, you come off like an asshat. Next time try "Do you find there's a difference between sifting vs. not sifting? Thanks."

The measurements are off…4,5 cups are not 565g …
