Oh my goodness. I was thinking about going up into plamondian again to visit my grandpa. And I just realized that the house you are staying at is about 3 houses down from my grandpas house.

Just a note that if you go boating on Lac la Biche, you want to be prepared for a big fish of up to 20 pounds; also that it is an extremely dangerous lake with many drownings; there are numerous sandbars and storms are a big hazard. Nearby Beaver Lake is also a great place especially for walleye,

I built the 32 foot octagon deck on the shore next to the amphitheatre, it is supposed to be a wheelchair accessible outdoor amphitheatre, not sure if the sidewalk to connect the 2 was ever completed. I see you were standing on it. I also built 2 sets of stairs on long point trail, with bike ramps, this is considered to be the best 2km of birdwatching in Canada 🇨🇦. There hasn't been a fire 🔥 on this island 🏝️ park in more than 350 years, so the insect populations are intense, this attracts many birds that don't go anywhere else in the area. Lac la Biche lake is also a national bird sanctuary.

Very cool! It's a beautiful spot and definitely a hidden gem. I think it was wheelchair assessable if I remember correctly.
