    Great video Jeff. Thanks for sharing. Would you be kind to share a grocery haul at Cold lake or probably the best stores for grocery haul.

      We don't have much a Wal-Mart, Sobeys and No Frills.....nothing really special....lol...the best for produce is local sourced vegetables from farmers during late summer and fall as well as the local butcher, which i did a video on.

    Great video! If i could make some suggestions, get rid of the robot voice…. I would rather hear your real voice and get a better reflection of emotions and thoughts on what your seeing or experiencing. Also it would be interesting to see the less desirable areas of town. Keeping your personal safety in mind of course.
    Exploring some of the parks and recreation available would be great too!

    • @travellingwithjeff
      @travellingwithjeff  Год назад +1

      Hey thx. Yes i am now using my voice, i wanted a bit of time to practice. Less desirable parts of town, we really don't have one, at best we have an old part of town but from a crime standpoint there are more issues in new developments by far then in older parts. Welcome to Cold Lake part 4 is about schools and parks. Thx for watching.

    Fun Fact - the transit is free! Edmonton gave Cold Lake those buses so all the city has to do is pay the drivers. They decided the fare for transit will be $0.

    • @travellingwithjeff
      @travellingwithjeff  6 месяцев назад

      Fact news...sadly.....they did not some from Edmonton, nor were they free, we paid for them at a reduced rate

    Where the Fire station is there used to be a local place called Dairy King.

    @2:31 You can just see the Nose of the Widow Maker aka CF-104, at the Left of the Screen.
    Cold Lake North and South? I know it as Cold Lake and Grand Center
    It has been 20 yrs since I was last up that way. It has certainly transitioned closer to the 21st Century than it was back then.

    • @travellingwithjeff

      Medley, Grand Centre and Cold lake amalgamated in 2000 to the city of Cold lake, most refer to them as north and south now....lol

      looking at my Photographs, the last Time I was in Cold Lake was middle of Sept 2004. I went up into the Air Weapons Range, to check a Company Site, Didn't realize it would be my last Trip up there. On an earlier Trip I got a few nice Pics of the VooDoo standing on its Tail, inside the Base. I don't know if it is still there

      I moved here after Medley, Grand centre and cold lake became a city, so we just call it the mall but your right it is still the tri-city
