Why did United bring them to Hobby and not IAH?

United does narrow body maintenance at Hobby. They are using Hobby for Max induction.

Hobby is a heavy Mx base for the UA 737 fleet. IAH will be seeing them soon enough

If anyone knows about Qatar flying thier A350 900 into Edinburgh does anyone knows if it's permanent as for the Last few days it's been nothing but A350 900 rather than the usual 787 8. U never know could be the 787 9 ad qatar 1st 787 9 is due for delivery in December 2018

I went to Hobby airport for plane spotting in 2020 and saw 9 737 max 9’s from United parked there. Also, one of the max 9’s parked at hobby flew from KAILUA-KONA HAWAII to Houston! Really Long flight for a 737 max 9.
