Good review! These jump starters (I have the Noco) are so handy! Just remember to check the power level periodically. They need to be re-charged every so often. But such a great addition to an off-road rig.
Hey Fletch, I have the noco, and I've had it in my Pathfinder for years now. Its saved me on trails and while camping before. I tell everyone that it should replace jumper cables. I love it but do you think as far as quality/ reliability it beats noco?
So, I also love my Noco. This unit is newer to me, but with 6 times the capacity and some really nice features, I'm liking it a lot. If nothing's wrong with the Noco, I don't think I'd replace it, but if it wears out or stops holding a charge or something, it's definitely something to consider!
@AllThingsOverlanding true, what sold me on it is that it's c type! The noco is literally the only thing out of all my gear that still uses micro USB everything else is c type 😆 🤣
@@That_Skate_Guy I know, that is strange. Like they had already built all the molds/machining and just refuse to change it to update to catch up with everybody else, :D.
I always carry one (Wagan Tech V10) when I am traveling and have used it a few times, once when the battery was dead at camp. Mine is only max 1000 amps and has had more than enough power to turn over a 7.0 liter V8. 6,000 amps is huge (so is the unit!)

I've heard of that one too! Yeah, this thing seems to be a beast. Lucky I have a dual drawer system in the bed of my truck, :D.
