Us, too, in Bessemer, MI. But I was a broken-hearted Vikes fan on that beautiful early October day, with temps. near 70. The Vikings lost 5 or 6 games that season in the same, late-game fashion--Fred Cox alone was responsible for two misses on the last play of the game, one 19-yarder against the Cardinals the week after this game.
Larry Czonka said that the hit from Vikings Roy Winston (06:28) caused temporary paralysis. He literally crawled back to the sidelines and it took him several minutes to get the feeling back in his legs.
I also thank you for the upload. The picture quality is outstanding, and the narration by Pat Summerall and Tom Brookshier was excellent as usual 🏈.
We use to watch TWIPF, then after the show, go out and play football thinking we were the great players.
I have those same memories. It was a special time indeed.
Same here. Such great memories! Football was so much better back then. Life was better back then.

Thank 😊 you for the upload. I grew up watch this show every week.
I love watching upset games. Shows you how talented different teams are.
Great music!
This show used to air on Sat night. On Sunday we did the same thing thinking we were those guys.
Another great episode of the Miami Dolphins "Perfect Season" in 1972.

Csonka came back after Shula insisted, he get back in the game. He was so angered by the gesture, the pain went away
5:08--the Houston Oilers' highlight for 1972.
Only highlight of Bill Peterson's tenure
6:25--Viking linebacker Roy Winston makes his presence felt to Dolphin fullback Larry Csonka.
