I don't mean to be a stick in the mud but if your on the road you have to follow all traffic laws pardon the pun but it is a 2 way street. i have also seen drivers use the "bicycle lane" to turn or pass an entire line of cars. personally i think it will only add more confusion to the mix and ultimately hurt more people than intended.
You never explained how these lights would change anything. How are they any different than the existing lights? We bicyclists are already required to obey the existing traffic signals. How are the new signals going to change anything???????????
Another issue the elderly have to deal with…So unnecessary…. There aren’t enough bike riders here. It’s safer driving in Tijuana Mexico. You do know auto insurance isn’t mandatory in Michigan…THE ONLY STATE THAT DOES NOT ENFORCE AUTO INSURANCE. Ludicrous
Not true. Read the law for yourself. We are required BY LAW to follow the same traffic laws as motorists. Anyone who thinks differently it totally ignorant.

As a bicyclist, I agree.
What year was that vehicle, only now we have infrastructure.
