Amazing to see what is truly possible with learning languages and how many possibilities that opens up to you. I applaude you both for honing your interests, passions, and talents to connect with the world and people around you, extremely inspiring to me and others as well

I am always amazed at people who can learn languages, and so quick. I like learning languages and I have a knack for it...but it takes me ages and I still am not fluent in a second language. I realise study is involved but you guys seem to do it so quick. How??
I guess I have to watch all the vlogs to get the answer?! 😉

Interesting convo. I’m a native English speaker and the first foreign language I learned was Spanish, not Japanese.
Also, it’s interesting. I think for me I never thought about language learning being such a big thing or even for attention reasons. I didn’t know I was different and it wasn’t normal until I was on my 3rd language or so. None of my family members speak other languages, minus my brother who has receptive bilingualism but he doesn’t speak Spanish. He only understands everything cuz I only spoke to him in Spanish growing up as I was learning.

The brain has no Limits, you could litterally learn 200 languages. I say this because 1 year ago I learned barely 1 english Text Page in 2 days. Yesterday, I retake that good habit and I memorized a scrip in less than one hour. And that makes me feel really motivated, that's why I think that human brain is amazing, you just have to train it just like a musle.

      200 languages? Don't be ridiculous! 😄

@@PetraStaal I mean, in a way s/he's right. When it comes to brain capacity, I think a person could learn 200 languages. The only problem is the time. Our brain would probably be fine sucking up all that knowledge, but the human life span is not long enough for us to get to that point. I guess we can dream of becoming a bunch of vampires and then spending the next 200 years learning as many languages as possible :D

U gotta love the language (or culture, or person speakin it 😜)
Study the grammar, read books, watch movies with subs
    Practice daily and stay curious
Expose yourself to the language and visit it so learning the language becomes a neccesity for ur survival or sparks ur curiosisty
    Good luck
