This buff makes sense because you need do beat easy modes three times with the starter towers to get a reward.
just solo it using only soldier it isnt hard

I have a gut feeling that this change will be reverted once the Roblox Hunt event ends. This change was probably put in place so that newer players can more easily beat easy mode with just scout to get the egg.
Edit: I guess I was right.

i used the scout for the challenge quest for the egg and i noticed that its soooo much better now so i just spammed them with a few demos and won normal mode easily

About time Scout did more DPS than Sniper. Sniper is 13 (and some) and Scout is 20 for those in replies. Scout got nerfed, does 12.25 now lol

This makes me really happy since I got golden scout today! 🎉
I did a solo run with scout and sniper (easy mode) and they COOKED
(It was on crossroads so results may vary on different maps)
pretty sure the scouts can solo easy mode on every map
i did the same on 3 different maps(except i used 3 hunters instead of snipers yes only 3 so the scouts cooked harder)
who else remembers Corso's old outro. Jandro 684 is the OG member, I remember when you used to say his name every single outro
One funny thing about this buff is it invalidates Solider since it has the exact same dps basically at max, but for cheaper and slightly less range lol

I didn't realize that the regular scout got a buff. I was just used to using golden scout most of the time. But it's good to hear that. This regular scout is now good as the golder version.

g scout isnt worth getting now..... (eventhough g is better than normal version but 50k gold for a SLIGHTY better than normal one ? nah
3 lvl 0 scouts is now almost as good as 3 lvl 0 gscouts and yes gscout is better in mid to late game but that doesnt matter cuz by that time u have towers better than a lvl 4 gscout i think they should buff g scouts damage from 2 to 3 at lvl 0

Honestly, this somewhat shows how much tds is in a vicious loop where the devs need to overall increase the stats of troops just to keep up with the content being pushed for the late game fans

Very necessary. Every time I played with rookies I told them to ditch the scout and save up for soldier.
If they are gonna make all the towers useful they should make them equal like btd6 except you still have to buy the other towers if you want more options

You should do is a $200 unit challenge so basically you have $200 how you figure out what the $200 is you add up all the units starting cash and divided by five to figure out how much money it is you can increase or decreases the challenge. I want you to do.
Guys, if you didn't know you should still do the easy hunt quest even after the ugc is gone, cause you can get a free deluxe crate, which in my opinion is way better than the scout egg.

If it was kept. Scout would rise from #2 in C-Tier to Low B-Tier since i think it would get somewhat used in some of my strategies such as "Dig Your Own Grave!" which is a Duo Normal strat.
So if this wasn't reverted. I would "kinda" flex with my masquerande scout.

B-Tier : Golden Soldier, Pyromancer, Crook Boss, Turret, Mortar, Pursuit, Scout, Hunter, Ace Pilot
C-Tier : Millitant, Soldier, Electro-Shocker, Sniper, Necromancer (the new tower), Rocketeer

Nobody realizes, but there is a high chance this change will be reverted. They added this so people don’t need experience in TDS to get the egg, which is honestly nice of the development team.
they can use another starter tower tho but prob for acutal newbie. If it wont be reverted they should buff g scout otherwise its worthless

Normal scout become meta for early? Cuz you only use golden scout around lv 0 or highest is lv 2, later lv is not needed

Lol if they will keep the same stats after the event ends, I demand a buff for a golden version too, so this will be fair
that’s the problem with golden skins, either the normal version has to slightly suck, or the gold version has to either be not worth it or overpowered
Golden scout doesn't need a buff just because the normal version is good, it's still as good as before scout buff and has much better cost effective for 2k more total cost you get 17 more dps
@@HarryOn299 the problem is, golden scout right now (at least imo) kind of sucks, even if you disregard how normal scout almost as good. gso does essentially the same thing early game, and is quite good mid game, and golden crook is amazing in general. It just feels like whatever situation it is, golden scout is outclassed by something else.
@@crazyrocketman Honestly, they should delete golden crate rng and have a "golden perks" category in the shop and every tower perk cost is different like golden scout perk cost 10k or g mini 30k instead of all cost 50k and everyone wouldn't expect the tower to be overpowered or underrated because each perk would have a different cost and creativity, they could even add more golden perk and they would know that it won't be too grindy and all players that aleady has that perk they wonder get money back like if scout perk cost 10k they would get 40k Cuz grind whole week for 50k for perk that you don't need hurts a bit and waiting in the daily shop takes years

I dont think the scout should have been as buffed as it has been, I can see why they made this change, to make the game more excecabel for newer players but they buffed it slightly too much, should have buffed the higher level dps not the early levels

The total cost of scout is 4,000. for 19.30 dps and
accel at lvl 0 costs 4250 and it have 20 dps
This is overall a good change, This made it good cost effective compared to other towers
