My favorite thing about Valentines Day is making Valentines for everyone I love. Cards, chocolate covered strawberries, pjs whatever I can to show I care while on a really really tight budget. I am in love with the clothing, hairstyle and make-up from the 40s... It just makes you smile and feel sexy and sassy.

My friend and I spent our day handing out Valentines to passersby in the street-little messages simply signed 'lets make the world a little less stranger'-and those smiles on the faces of people who really needed it were one of the best things I could've seen. Sometimes we get so caught up in day to day tasks that it's easy to forget to do little things for each other, or even to spend quality time together. And on the other hand, I love celebrating my friendships, making little cards for people (which never fails to brighten someone's day), and reminding my friends that we don't need to be paired off to have fun, be loved, and love in return. :)
