I absolutely love the deeper voice Justin gives Izuku. Really goes hand in hand with his new Vigilante look. I hope that even after the arc ends, he keeps the deeper tone. You know how Eric Vale changed Shigaraki's voice from raspy and scratchy to deep and imposing to signify his growth? I hope Justin does the same for Izuku.
Shiggy's voice changed in the manga as well, is speech bubbles went from wobbly to regular. Eric was just following Hori's wishes. Ik in the subbed it was harder to pick out that his voice was more confident
Well, he does voice luck for "black clover" and Ayanokouji from "classroom of the elite". If you haven't watched any of the two shows let me break down the character summary for the two. Luck: Imagine if Izuku welds lightning magic, and is such a blood knight that he reacts to the concept of facing stronger enemies like receiving a brand new present for Christmas, and he'll be most often to laugh at excitement about anything dangerous to him to boot. Ayanokouji: Imagine if Izuku lives in a realistic setting with no powers of any kind, and not only are his facial expressions frozen solid but is such an intellectual cutthroat about his plans, that he would even go as far as to sabotage his classmates. In short, one is a perky fighter, and one is a stoic mastermind of a student. Two personalities that are so polarizing to each other that the 9th one for all hero is somewhere in the middle, and the three are all voiced by the same guy. I think it's safe to say that Justin has earned himself the title of an English VA actor in anime.

Deku went from Spider-man to Batman. And damn that voice. People can crap on dub all day, but the way Justin changes his voice to make Deku sound older is great.
The beef has more to do with the timing than the tone. At first he sounded way too slow and neutral, instead of fast and awkward like in the original. But his performance has improved drastically since season 1. This sounds definitely good.
I love how like shigaraki voice and dekus voice changed to be deeper as well, but while both voices changed to take on a more serious tone and change in characters circumstance (plus their resolve), there are still differences in their voices like how deku sounds more tired and stright to the point, while shigaraki sounds more energetic and unhinged.
Which means in Season 7, Deku'll be back to his old voice ¬_¬ Shame, guess he devolved (As for Shigaraki, don't forget that he DID have an "Awakening" (So to speak) in Season 5)
0:01-0:05 Muscular’s VA did a great job, he sounded truly deranged here. Justin briner also did great in portraying deku’s change after the war at 0:17-0:24 .
I’m really loving the direction they are going in this season. Deku seems like an entirely different person after talking to the OFA users. It’s really crazy to think how it started and how it’s going,

This new side of Deku is quite the show starter if you ask me. He's no longer gonna be put down by anyone and will continue to fight to keep everyone safe. Even still, he should rely on others. Thats what being a hero is all about don't you think?
That is true but all of those years of trauma combined with what's happened to this point well he may mean well but even the most strong willed person will buckle eventually and then the saying "All it takes is one bad day" comes into play.
Yes then there's the crossroads with this kind of case there's only four ways it can end: #1 the events in manga happen. #2 he inevitably dies from overworking himself. #3 his the manga events don't happen and he eventually kills Shigaraki while condemning everyone in his old life. #4 He goes insane and pulls a Stain on every villain he comes across and in time kills everyone who made those villains into what they are.

Did they not see him take a punch to the back off guard in this clip and shake it off like nothing. He most definitely would have put up a fight if not for that exposed weakness. deku is NOT a vigilante...a vigilante goes against the law to serve jusice...deku is a licensed hero who is working with the top heroes in the show
