This kind of holiday is so restorative. We went to the maldives for our honeymoon and it was pure bliss, the best holiday we could have wished for. We didnt wear shoes the entire time. We were incredibly lucky as a tutle lay her eggs outside our room. The conservation projects there were amazing.

As a somewhat silent supporter, I just really wanted to say thank you for bringing these kinds of issues to the forefront. This is the kind of content people should be putting out and the kind of issues people should be using their platform to 'influence'. We don't need another 24 hrs doing this or person in front of me orders my food video. In a time where the environment is declining so rapidly and society is so caught up in the fallacy of social media, real and humane issues should be placed in the spotlight. Here in Trinidad the Red fruit you were tasting and said it was sour is called Sorrel here. It's traditionally bears in November and December and we make a sorrel drink with it boiled with spices like cinnamon and cloves. We also make jams with it. it can also be served like mulled wine for the holidays

Paradise, with a purpose. OMG. Incredible. Never heard of this place, until now, thanks to you. I was bummed when this video ended. It was brilliant to see it all in action! So many hotels make green goals and initiatives but make no effort to meet them or make them happen. Bawah is quite the opposite, with the environment and natural surroundings being the most important aspect of the hotel 💙

I just looked this up on Google Maps and I’m so surprised this island is really close to Singapore where I live!! I really need to visit soon. Most Singaporeans like myself have no idea that this place exists at all!

We actually didn't see any mosquitos! Joe normally gets eaten alive but neither of us were bitten at Bawah. They use a natural bug repellent in each room.

@@niomismart hibiskus is great as a tea, but you can also put the powder (buy it, or blitz up the dried flowers in a high power blender) into smoothies, porridge or whatever you want. It's super healthy! I can't remember exactly, but I believe it's high in vit c and antioxidants. Also great for hair and facemasks, I mix ghassoul with a bit of the tea for a monthly hair mask. :)
