    Honey, videographer needed to have you show more detail on the actual wire connectivity, one, at the base of the light and, two, where the wires connect to those cheap, plastic splice-connectors. Those two items were the only reason for hunting down and watching this set-up vid,

    Where does the electrical line come from that gets inserted into the flood light connector device?

    Please provide more information on how to connect it to turn it on. I bought it but there is no way to power it on? It says I need a transformer which is not included. Need to provide more details on what is needed.

    How do you change the bulb? The top won’t screw off on any of them..

  • @TheTferrer

    And how do you wire that again? The wiring explanation does not provide enough details and safety to install these spotlights. I am not picking on you, but the wiring instructions provided with these lights are what made me take them back in the first place.

    You don’t have to tape the end of the wire?

    • @ethanpowell3203
      @ethanpowell3203 3 года назад +2

      Since it is a 12V power supply, it is not necessary since there is no shock hazard since the voltage is so low. But it’s probably a good idea to tape it just to protect against water causing the cable to oxidize.

    What’s the difference between floor light and spot light ?

    Its rated for 50,000 hours but I’d say about 18,000 hours. 6 years at 8 hours per night after dark for 365 days a year. Still pretty good life. 3 of my 4 lights in the 4 pk don’t work anymore. One is still going but I’ll replace it anyways.

      LED bulb marketers overdrive their LED chips. 50k hrs is possible at lower amps than they run them at.

      One of mine went out after a year. And light on a timer. I really like these though

      Same for me. Lasted about 6 years. Definitely not 50k hours

    Do you take the rubber off the prongs or do you leave it on when you are puncturing the wire??

    Awful job Home Depot you should emphasize that this system is low voltage. You need a transformer to connect the lights
    I can see many people trying to go straight into an outlet and burning the whole thing

    This is the dumbest trash Home Depot has. It would be helpful if they would state on the box that there is a transmitter needed BEFORE a person spends thier money and have to make extra runs to the store spending MORE money.

    Terrible lights......last about 2 seasons then have to be replaced with new....avoid this company! There are better products out there that have longer longevity.
