I think this is a first you've enjoyed the water. So weird the the plesio is speedy here. They look cute swimming, flapping, belly flapping around. Never knew you need to breathe air. That adventure trekking on land is the best!

I believe through the evolution chain they ended up branching off to various species such as the Dolphin, Whales etc..... various other Air breathing Ocean mammals.

Kaiwhekea was not a fish, it was a reptile. That's why you needed air to breathe.
That said, some fish need air to breathe too, so even if it were a fish... be cautious, haha. You never know if you'll need air or water unless you know how that particular species breathes. The vast majority of fish do not need air, though.
Also, fish breathe water through their gills, they do not swallow the water to breathe. To breathe air, they use their lungs like any other vertebrate would (invertebrates often have very different ways of breathing air and almost never have lungs). Though not every fish has lungs, and the ones that do generally have very basal and simple lungs, with some exceptions such as... fittingly... the lungfish.
Fish usually lack anything resembling a leg and instead swim using their tail. There were marine reptiles with fins that swam with their tails, so it's not a surefire way of telling if something is a fish or not. But if it lacks gills AND it swims using paddles instead of its tail, it's definitely not a fish. When they add eurhinosaurus... check for gills! It has none! I think you'll be quite surprised by that fact, because it looks so incredibly like a fish that I would not blame you if you thought it was one even after learning about marine reptiles!
If I recall, most fish sort of sleep but it's not quite a full sleep? It's like insects where they enter an extremely slowed state but are still somewhat aware and mobile... I think? I'm not so sure on this part.
By the way, kaiwhekea was a type of plesiosaur, so it was not a fake plesiosaur :)

Kaiwhekea is a Relative and sorta ancestor to Elasmosauridea meaning it's related to the Elasmosaurus, Styxosaurus and Other Elasmosauridea and Kaiwhekea was a filter feeder but some how the Dev decided to make it a Fish Eater and gave it Lips since all Plesiosaurs and Elasmosaurs actually don't have lips and they're teeth are so supposed to stick out
I mean the fossil record shows nothing of them not having lips so they can do what they want.

Pleiosaurs aren't fish, they're actually repltiles. They need to breathe just like whales and dolphins. Fish breathe by running water over their gills so the gills can pull oxygen out of water (H20). Love your videos!

It would be cool if they added something like the Cameroceras or Tusoteuthis. Not many games let you experience playing those in games. ARK lets you tame a tuso as you already know but that is the only game I can think of. Also a Dunkleosteus and maybe one of the large sea scorpions.
Plus there's the possibility the tuso was actually a vampire squid

That bird was a guillotine dragon, its a semi aquatic flying creature :) also u arent a fish, ur a haka- the whatever- and ur a semi aquatic reptile, kind of like mosasaurs, ichthyosaurs, and Prognathodon.

Tbh it’s kinda upsetting to know that they gave Thalasso and Kai the most generic niches in the game. Also the fact that Kaiwekia has lips is a bit unsettling

The flight system is the worst ive ever played with, the whole game is slow and outdated so that doesnt help and the combat with the whole game is pretty bad. Bad stam, slow, dies in one hit to a rex, bad flight system, you lose stam just gliding, gliding makes you drop super fast, bad aerial combat, bad hit reg on bite, laggy and buggy sometimes so you cant get in the air and youll die. Just a bad game in general. Everything feels low quality and poorly made. The calls sucks on every dino, the mechanics suck in general making the game boring and repetitive, combat is trash, you get kosed at least 3 times a day, mods have no power so people are toxic in game and in chat, the animations are getting worse with the new creatures coming out, roars are getting worse as well. Low quality game that doesnt know what it wants to be and just wants to make a ton of money being the only dino game on mobile. They sacrifice mass amounts of quality as in graphics and animations and gameplay just so they can make more money off of people who can only play on mobile . I have no respect for the devs who would sacrifice making a better dino game just to profit off of making low quality crap so people can play on a phone. Everyone can feel how cheap and poorly mzde this game is. Look at evrima and tell me who is the better game studio. They are building it on the best engine and actually trying to push themselves for the best quality they can make. Path of titans is a shitty great value Evrima that you can play on a phone because the devs wanted to make more money not compete to make an actually good dino game to compete with Evrima. Pot is fun for a week or so but as it has no real merit as a fighting, horror, or survival game I dont even know what to call pot because they dont even know what it is. Its just a dino sim with servers that almost all have no rules and kos whoever isnt a part of the gang. Bad game get evrima and youll see what quality actually is.
