Crocodilians and their closest relatives (any neosuchian crocodylomorph, such as the sarco) have a sprawled posture when at rest, but when walking or standing their legs are semi-erect, meaning halfway between the beneath the body posture of dinosaurs, mammals, and other such animals, and the beside the body posture of lizards, amphibians, etc. This is because ancestrally, archosaurs (which is a group crocodilians are a part of) have a fully erect leg posture, and neosuchians- the group crocodilians and their relatives are in- evolved to become more sprawled. But they haven't gone all the way yet, and may not ever go all the way. Early ancestors of mammals were also semi-erect in posture, but rather than this being because they evolved to become more sprawled out, they went from sprawled to erect instead. In that regard, neosuchians are odd because they did the reverse of what most other animals did with their legs. I think the sprawling posture is probably beneficial to them for swimming and for pushing their body against the ground as far as they can to hide, but I'm not sure.
You've never seen a crocodile tongue because they can't move them! They have a membrane that keeps it in place in their mouth. Other crocodilians can move their tongues, though.

What play as a Dino sever do you play on and how to get it. I’ve always wanted to do it but don’t know how, if you could say in your next video that would be great.
Is the only way to growin this game to do quests? After i watched this video the other day, i decided to download it as i loved it when it first popped up a while ago (used to play on mobile) Quests seem to take a very long time to complete when theres so many of them and i find it hard to believe they'd make it so time consuming to grow.. could be wrong though
on official yes it takes a SUPER long time to grow up your dinos. I recommend playing on community servers as you get boosted rates :) The one I play on gives you x8 growth it takes maybe 2-3 hours depending on your luck and how quickly you do quests. Way better than the days it takes on official. I never actually got a dinosaur to full grown on official lol
@@sweetlunabean haha yeah i’ve come to realise that now. i spent 4 days trying to grow an allo on official so i eventually swapped to community servers. i now main on Auranea and won’t be going back to official unless they sort out their growth. thanks 🫶

Crocodile tongues are attached to their lower jaw, so it can't move. But yes, they have tongues.
