Dave didn't join Nirvana untill September of 1990, this performance is from the pine street theatre in Portland in February 1990 before he joined so that's Chad Channing on the drums

Drove down from TESC to see that show. The whole show was awesome but Nirvana stood out as something totally special that night. So glad I got to see them.

Kurt, Krist, Dave, and Chad had so much energy and were some badass punk rockers, one of the greatest grunge bands of all time, Kurt was always jumping around like crazy, letting out all the energy, would've been badass to see them live, R.I.P Kurt Donald Cobain

My introduction to Nirvana....Nevermind was not released yet....my son was in a band in HS...the drummer's dad and I hauled their shit from show to show. They played this at a show, the kids went nuts, and they ended up playing it again at the end of the show.
Fond memories...even better.... 20 years later, his current band played it at my wife's 65th BD party and I got to play/sing it with them!!!

What’s the point of putting the audio from another video into this one? It seems so out of sync.
Kurt Cobain really seemed to have fun playing music prior to the In Utero tour.
He definitely had a lot of fun during the IU tour. It was really only mid/late Feb of 94 when he started to seem bored or sad. Even then, in the March 1st show he seemed to have a bit of fun.
Kurt was a lot better before Courtney love. She is crazy and I think she drove him crazy. Obsessive woman can send men round the bend.
