i might have to try one..i wish they made a sheepsfoot version it would probably be my favorite ever and i changed my mind about 100 times on knives and sold them off and i really regret some of them
I picked up a Drift a couple of weeks ago and an IQ delivered yesterday. Both are fantastic. The Drift has been butter. It is so thin and light and I glad I have a knife that's completely rust proof. I have my IQ in the office today, its a great ''gentleman's'' knife. They are excellent fit and finish. Google says they're made in Taiwan.
Great video man, Ive been looking for a rustproof knife since I work HVAC and rain or shine I'm probably gonna be on a rooftop. Had the manix 2 salt but it was too big for my liking. The usual daily is one of my para 3s. And watching your video made me pull the trigger on the drift, it came the other day and it's been in the pocket ever since. Love the color of those scales on yours too.
Love the Drift. Fantastic in every way. I just bought a Rosie and LOVE it. The Drift is very similar and $500 cheaper. I love both the Rosie and the Drift.
I’ve got both the drift L and the nine. They are both so different yet have the same solid, well built feel. I carry the nine more for work being beefier and magnacut
85 thou is crazy thin. I think the Delica is like 90. I just ordered a purple bone Soddy Jr to go with that black and purple slip you made. Was going to put my liner lock in it but changed my mind!
Dood!! My first “grail” knife I bought was a 940 after some Gerber, kershaw and a delica and I thought I’d love that knife forever and now it just sits there….lol
love the drift but my neutron 2 gets a lot more pocket time purely for the blade shape. theres just a little too much belly for me 😅 if i could just blade shape swap them id have the perfect knife
Bro I’m the same way with washing my knives off I try not to get the pivot wet. If I do I’m standing there for like five minutes blowing it out and oiling it.
@doodysdaggers I'm still feeling my style out(intro or not, length of vids, sharpening content or reviews, etc.) So definitely take my advice with a grain of salt
Wanted to try a drift pretty badly, had a pretty annoying experience with quiet carry though. Don’t think I’ll ever attempt to give them business again.. They cancelled my order without giving me any kind of heads up because they thought I was trying to scam them or some shit. and when I talked to the customer service about it, it was like I was talking to some emotionless individual. 😭
Love this knife! I have two sets of G10 scales (that fucker Jason was so kind to give me his accidental set of black G10). It is crazy light with the G10 and the action feels very smooth; not drop shut but still smooth and it fits so perfectly in the hand. Now i just wish they had titanium scales for the liner lock versions.
Great looking knife- I love the color and milling of the handles.
Nice looking 🔪 knife I don't have any in my collection but it sure looks awesome! Thanks Doody!
I have the brown one too and love it. I've been carrying it for a couple weeks now. I love the brown, it matches my pup ;) Thanks and take care
Good choice!

Definitely OK to change your mind. Cheers. 👐
Man I dig the brown. I need to grab one
Hush Hush, keep it down down, Quiet Carry. Sharp looking knife. Thanks
This is definitely on my list to pick up

That’s sweet, I’ve never tried an IQ but I’d like to
@@doodysdaggers it's a smaller and thin knife. Definitely has that fancy look to it. The IQ Large was really popular

I’m glad you like it! It’s fantastic
Great review. That will be my next bigger purchase. I love the Nine(Carrying it today) and I know I will love the drift too.
Yep if you like the Nine you’ll like the Drift
Love the Drift. Fantastic in every way. I just bought a Rosie and LOVE it. The Drift is very similar and $500 cheaper. I love both the Rosie and the Drift.
I’ve got the black G10 version and quite happy with it as the beach beater I bought it for. Still… That knurled Ti is on another level.
Going off the idea of the large I already have the drift & love the finger choil on the blade.
Going to wait for a 9 restock
Got me some super stainless in the magnacut salt series native 5. It is really nice to have a rust proof knife if needed
I will own a quiet carry in 2024. Dope video Dood🤙🏻🤙🏻
It is 2025. Did you own that QC?
If I was held to every opinion I've had in the past i would've never made it past 30 😂
😂
I’ve got both the drift L and the nine. They are both so different yet have the same solid, well built feel. I carry the nine more for work being beefier and magnacut
Nice choice 👌
Thinking about getting the same one non textured. Does it help add grip or more for aesthetics?
The plain one could definitely be slippery in a wet environment

Oh nice! That’ll be perfect
All Quiet Carry Knives are designed and engineered in California and manufactured by Quiet Carry's team in Taiwan.
Yessir!
Dood!! My first “grail” knife I bought was a 940 after some Gerber, kershaw and a delica and I thought I’d love that knife forever and now it just sits there….lol
I want this one, but it's out of stock

Definitely very similar knives! Both amazing
Is this knife spring assisted? I haven't had the best of luck with those types, so I try to just get manual opening knives.
No it’s manual
@@doodysdaggers thx
the Benchmade narrows wasnt your knife of the year ???? Good lmao. new catch phrase "Just remember Doody happens!"
😂 thats a good one
Man I love that and the Drift L, I want the Waypoint L as well. So hard to choose because I want the Nine so bad too!
Love the knife but put it up against the spyderco native 5 magnacut or lc200n
How’s it doing after a few weeks Dood? Do you think the pvd coating will hold up over time or wear off?
So far it has shown zero sign of wearing off
@@doodysdaggers good to hear. Thanks.
i'm not big on brown but that root beer color is fire...
Root beer is a good way to describe it!
Good morning DOODS!!!!
I don't have any Vanax yet but i do like the drift, maybe the drift l
nice knife to avoid rust
New catch phraze. Live sharp stay keen.
Good one
As far as a rust proof knife goes I would be interested in seeing a cut test with something from Terrain 365 using their terravantium!
Oh I’d love to
I actually like the appearance of this one more than the 9. Rust proof don’t hurt either! 🔥
Quiet Carry Drift or Kunwu Padre?
Probably Drift but that’s tough
Annnnnd Doody out. 😂
Bro I’m the same way with washing my knives off I try not to get the pivot wet. If I do I’m standing there for like five minutes blowing it out and oiling it.
😂 exactly!!
Sweet ass knife
How bout "You Stay classy Dooderinos"
Haha that’s good
@doodysdaggers I'm still feeling my style out(intro or not, length of vids, sharpening content or reviews, etc.) So definitely take my advice with a grain of salt
You are correct, made in Taiwan.
Catch Phrase "get to gargoyle'n...."
That’s perfect
Sup doood
