Impressive research. Minor nitpick points: Spain has cochinillo; as for shaved ice dessert, there are a few famous ones like namkhaeng sai [nám.kʰɛ̌ŋ sǎj] of Thailand; chè [t͡ɕɛ˦˩] of Vietnam; finally, one of the ingredients of ais kacang [aɪs ˈkatʃaŋ], cendol is pronounced [ˈtʃɛndɒl].

Fun video. In Oskaloosa, Iowa, USA, 50 years ago, my sisters came home from school with a stick game called "Tinikling". As a child I assumed every one knew what it was. But in later years, no one did! 7 years ago, my son came home from a 2 year long stay in the Philippines and Tinikling was on a video. My son also introduced me to Balut. I like eating it and I think it is brilliant. In the egg, the duckling is clean food. Once it hatches, look where it walks. :)

Fish balls in the Philippines is a product of poverty. It is not cultural. Sadly, it has become the most legit Pinoy street food. Yes, Bali has a more festive Lechon. HaluHalo while it is great, the way Filipinos rave about it is sad. It is not uniquely Filipino. The shaved iced desserts of other Southeast Asian countries is even more cultural. Filipinos need to be less ignorant about their neighbors, so they can identify what is uniquely Filipino. The Banawe is the only one famous. But it is interesting to know that it is not the UNESCO site. China has the Lonsheng Rice Terraces and it is more pituresque than the fabled Banawe terraces. In fairness, the Filipinos can claim Kare Kare! It uses Toasted Rice and not just peanut butter. It is not a mere Satay. Tinikling is apparently everywhere, and you can expect its more alive in other places. Great Video, subscribed!

this thing is uniquely filipino because this how we made in from this culture and from this food. . . Specially the food it may not come from us what make it uniquely pinoy is the flavor the native ingredients that was put on it. . . About the culture yeah the have samething what the culture we have it became uniquely filipino because Filipino is the one who played on it or dance on it we put our culture on tinikling because it is not about the bamboo dance but the story telling that was in the dance the culture that people wear on that dance
