Looks amazing! I'm so proud of you! At this stage my goal is just to keep my yard, trees and ornamental plants maintained lol. I have about one acre in an older established subdivision. I use a push mower and do all the landscaping and DIY projects by myself. I have started having chronic muscle pain in my back the last few years (in my late 30s) so I am kinda just keeping up with the necessities around here! But I love seeing all your progress and projects outside! 🌱🌿🍀🪴🍆☘️
Up here in Canada (zone 4) we always have to start squash from starts, otherwise we’d never get anything. The transplanting never harms them imo. So zero judgment here on your transplants 😁
Looking good. I'm in northern NJ and we have been harvesting lots and lots of Collards, kale, mustard greens, radishes, several types of lettuce, spinach, arugula, oregano, parsley, swiss chard and just loving being able to have a fresh salad everyday. Cauliflower, Cabbage, onions, garlic, green onions doing well. We have been planting tomatoes and peppers as well as eggplants everyday as we finish fencing in the garden beds. Cucumbers have just sprouted and also all the volunteer blue potatoes are popping up all over. Getting ready to harvest a big batch of comfrey to make some comfrey tea for the beds in a few weeks time. Mowing our grass for the first time this season and the clippings will all go to mulching the beds as well as giving some to the chicken compost yard. Our wood chip delivery of free chips is coming next week so we can put them in all the pathways as well as the chicken and duck runs.
Very nice, and I wish you the best of luck with the garden. I tried this a few years ago. I'm in FL so a little more of a challenge for some things. I have since given up despite some amazing sweet potato and cow pea success as it's just too much work for little reward: I've decided on a policy of no more intense labor for little return. I'm switching to just cover crops for the chickens and went full Carnivore. (was ketovore already). I'm still working on the 'food forest' efforts but no more plants for me. I'll feed the chickens most of the fruit and berries. I'm in the suburbs for now, but once I graduate to an acreage, I'll be adding hair sheep for milk and red meat supply. Keep up the awesome work and hope to see an update on the bees soon! God Bless.
Wait….. no screen time for new puppy?! 😢 I too am going beans heavy this year. I’ll hate myself for this decision when it is time to harvest and preserve lol
Thank you for the tour . Looks like a great start I look forward to the next tour. Love the way you '' experiment '' carry on
Living the dream
Looking amazing over there 🌱💚 seems like you got alot of gardening space 😊
Soooo unique! God bless
Looks good Sage! I don't go by the rulls either! In the wild strawberries are eaten as soon as they ripen!
I've noticed the black Purple tomatoes prefer heat. I really like the black krim. I saved seeds last year from one plant.
Your garden is looking brilliant already! So jelly
Of your strawberries! I just got mine in the ground this past weekend

love it
I had a time with slugs on the strawberry patch, an added onion starts seems to have helped a little

Looks like you will not have to buy many vegetables and will have many to preserve, looking great!
Fingers crossed! 🤞🏼
😊
What a great variety. Some of those I’ve never heard of.
You are getting it all covered girl Great work

David the Good on youtube has some great videos (and a book) about gardening in Florida if you're ever interested in giving it another try.
Looking so good, Great job!

The garden is looking good... Great job! How are your bees doing?
Putting away LOTS of nectar, but not laying eggs as far as I can tell yet. Giving them another week before I look to replace the queen.
@@terranovaacres - those queens can be a bit tricky... as well as spotting those little eggs. 🙂
You need a man
I don't, actually
You need a life
Keep telling yourself that
Who does she need, you? I highly doubt you've got anything as impressive going on as she does.
