I was just looking at this exact stand today Oct 13 2024 as I have a Honda Grom and was not sure if it would fit and also may not be able to assemble it. However after watching your very informative video I believe I will not have any assembly issues. Thanks for this video. I will now buy it.
@@btbuildthings How does it connect to the back. Is it a case were one uses the L shaped connectors and puts them under the swing arm? I do not have the spools or any other connection point.
I just put this stand to use today for the first time. Instructions were useless, they could at least tell you whether the wider part is for the front or rear. The front stand isn't great, especially fiddling with the spring loaded ends. One of my front ones bent. 2024 grom. Also the rear plastic set screw for the back lift broke off. I don't recommend this stand. You get what you pay for.
I bought the Vevor stand for the back. Now I do not see any place to hook it up to. Does one need to buy spools or something else as the way it is there is no place for it to attach. I was hoping to see a close up of yours when attached to the bike
These bikes take up so little space and can be picked up for so little $$, It's worth it just to have for the heck of it! I bought a Post hole digger before just for a few holes... Now I have it if I ever need it. Same with this. What a fun thing to spend a day on and it costs you next to nothing. My brother in law had one, it feels too light to describe !

For a small bike, I think it does the job at a low cost. Hope the stand works out well for you.

@@erwinerwin1245 I do have spools on mine. This is what I have installed: tstindustries.com/tst-spooled-captive-chain-adjusters-honda-grom-2022.html

Sorry to hear about your experience. My set is still working well, you probably just got the bad one in the batch.

Will these stands work on a 2024 Honda shadow? Exhaust is kind of in the way.
I'm actually not sure which stands would work with this model. As you said, the exhaust is right in the area where spools would be added.
man thank you so much I was wondering why my rear stands were not wide enough for the spools
You're welcome!
