At 1:18 you say thinner, wider motor instead of I assume shorter, wider

Yes, by a "thinner" stator I mean shorter, you know, as opposed to a "fat" stator 😁 Thanks for pointing it out, I do sometimes get tongue-tied narrating these videos!

Thanks so much for the video. Did you mention somewhere in the video about thrust? I might have missed it :) I looked on the Emax website and didnt see it. Do you know where to find the thrust specs?

Hi Greg, thanks a lot for watching! You're right, I only talked about weight/thrust in general terms, not specifics, I was mostly concerned with the weight and efficiency of the 2306's compared with the 2207's I would normally buy. You can find the thrust specs on the technical data sheet of the Emax product page. Also, Chris Rosser has a more technical motor testing video where he talks specifically about these motors outperforming (but being similar to) the EcoII 2306's.

The 2100kv should be in theory for 5s. But no one use 5s lipo. But you can then use them with 6s but liIon this compensating for less voltage per cell

That's a good point and as you mentioned I don't have any 5s batteries! For me even when I fly fast, 1800kv is usually more than enough with the right prop pitch, and even at that kv, my batteries are plenty warm after each flight, but I suppose there are some speed demons out there who want to fly that high kv on 6s...
