I've been hooping in them for a while. My hoop sessions last about two hours and i also play numerous pick up games in them. They DO NOT cause any problem to me, i DON'T have any blister issues. I do have a narrow feet, and my arch are pretty deep. I guess for all yall narrow feet hoopers, the Curry 5s will be a good fit. The cushioning is not as soft as Nike's cushioning, but it definitely give you that court feel, low to the ground feel. The lock downs are pretty nice, if you are a quick guard, you will enjoy them. Personally, i like the shoes very much. Hope this will help someone who is hesitating on copping them. If you have wide feet, stay away!!
Ninito-_- DaNoob they should've had more color ways.to me after the Curry 2.5 his shoes became trash and sales went down by media. I liked the look of the Curry 4 and I'm liking the look of the 5 but idk if they gonna sell alot
Can't sign that. This is one of the best (If Not the best) Bball shoe I ever had. You should note though that these are nothing for wide feet (which might be why some get blisters). Amazing product and even better than the Curry 4 - you don't even have that painful break phase where the materials hurt at the beginning. This one feels good after 15-20 minutes of playing in them and I'm a driving shooter that runs a ton on the court.
Maybe I'm one of the lucky ones who doesn't have any problem with the fit. Took my chance, copped it, n been playing in it since then. Never had blisters on my arch or whatsoever and the shoes fit perfectly like a gloves on my feet. Kinda loving it now
If you do have a wider foot. You can untighten the laces and it will loosen and feel great. It does have a little dead space but the lockdown does feel great. I have the colorway with the translucent bottom. And it works great.
When they come out with new color ways there will be all solid rubber outsole, that will fix the traction. And as for the pinching you might not have played with them enough and didn’t break them in enough!!!!
it's what i've come to expect out of the weartesters team, just an honest and fair review. kinda disappointing to hear it doesn't perform as well as it should since the shoe aesthetically looks the best so far in the curry line imo.
I got blisters in the curry 4 in my first game, but after they broke in, I had no issues. Unlike most people, I didn't get pinched at all in my curry 4s, I just got that one blister that one time. The 5s probably just need to be broken in, but I don't have them yet, so I am not sure.
Mac Anderson Maybe I worded it wrong. What I'm trying to convey is that it would look good as just a shoe to wear and not play ball in due to the affects caused when playing ball in them.
These shoes look dope being rocked casually and honestly alot of the retro Jordan's hurt your feet and they're heavy but no one speaks on that cause they're so hyped.
I don't think this was intended to be a real on court performance ball shoe considering when it came out. Probably some experiment Underarmour is doing. I mean we didn't even get a Curry 4.5 yet.
Naw I don't but I don't know that he's played in them yet? I was thinking maybe they will release a variant of the model that was more towards performance but yea i'm just speculating. So i'm not saying i'm right or anything.
Curry’s come out twice a year: pre-season, and post-season. That’s the way they market Curry’s lately cause they don’t have enough star athletes to not do that.
@DingisMaximus, Steph actually played with the Curry 5 against the Hawks in March 2018 (when he returned from his ankle injury), he looked hesitant which understandably coming from an injury and just getting his rythm back, then unfortunately he injured again in the 3rd quarter when McGee fell on him causing his latest MCL injury, please see ruclips.net/video/gWQTRuXXhe4/видео.html
Curry 5 is a good shoe btw, the only downside is the part where he get blister is the part where i get blisters and muscles cramps too, i think it is because of the lack of suppor because there is no outsole underneath it.
Every shoe fits differently than the other. I didn’t have any of the reviewer’s problems with the curry 5. The shoe support and traction is good enough for me and it looks good wearing them casually as well.
These Curry's are not made to hoop in I think they're just meant to rock casually off the court but I'm betting curry's very own 5's have alot of tech in them cause he's ballin in the playoffs and they don't seem to be messing with his feet that's the only solution I can come up with but they have a dope ass silhouette maybe one of dopest I've seen in a signature model since the Jordan retro 11 looks like a mix of a 11 And a KD 9 minus the patent leather I salute what under armour is doing over there they're going for the futuristic look💯
I tried them on today. And yes the are very tight on top of the foot . I really like how they look. But comfort comes first. Curry 4s were good for me.
I didn't see this reveiw. I just ordered mine. I will give you my honest review. True about the Curry 4's it was horrible I ended up returning them. Let's see how this C5's will hold up
As I said, for me, this review was good and upfront. I don't know if all your other reviews are just as upfront -- it's clear that you think so -- but certainly I wouldn't suggest that all of your reviews are equally as good.
So @JAHRONMON..You had mentioned "wide feet"...i have wide feet and I'm looking to purchase new hooping shoes because it has been a while...what would you recommend what basketball shoes to buy?
I honestly thing the curry 5 look the cleanest, but I feel that I wouldn't wear them to perform in, but as a more casual everyday shoe, but I normally wear my curry 2s and curry 3s when playing basketball, I'm not big on how the curry 4 feel on feet
I think blisters may partially be caused by the traction and the fit. On ones with solid rubber instead of translucent one, it may be a lot better. However, I am just going to pick this up as a casual shoe and shoot around once in awhile since it looks so dope. Still waiting for a low top that performs and looks good since Kobe 11.
I think that the Curry 5s are the best shoes in the game. I don’t understand the hate that Curry and his shoes get. To me the Curry’s are the best shoes in he game. Nothing flashy but just solid performance shoes ... Curry balled out btw in the Curry 5s... I need answers.
hey @jahronmon! thoughts on the design! you were pretty high on the curry 4 in terms of the silhouette, even though you didn't like the rest of the shoe? i actually thought the 4s look fire! and i would still cop the 4s again for a casual shoe just because of how unique it looks... what are your thoughts on the curry 5s (design?)
Any chance you can review the Adidas Mad Bounce? I'm thinking of getting a pair. I'd like to know how they perform. Thanks, man. Keep doing you. Great videos.
Great and honest review. Same details of which Nightwing said on his review. Such a shame another good-looking shoe turns out to be a bad performer (e.g. Nike Kobe AD). (P.S. What is wrong with the lighting on your video?)
Jahronmon I picked these up for my basketball season and i got a blister so I stopped playing in them during a vacation then when the blister went away they were fine and I had no problems
I care very little about the looks of a ball but how long it can stay grippy. The Nike True Grip is the only ball I've found that keeps its grip literally til its dying day! Does this ball maintain its grip for years?
great review Jahron, keepin it real and entertaining...once again a brand shows the perfect example of what happens when you put storytelling and novelty before functionality, practicality and performance...i still dont know why the hell they stopped using microg if it was so damn good! and then they go for these wack designs for SC...they had created one of the best shoes ever in the anatomix and they evolve to this? wtf ua
Lmao people voted the curry 4 over the curry 2? They either haven’t played in both or just don’t know anything. The cushioning in the curry 2 was a lot better because of the impact protection. The fit was a lot better and didn’t try to suffocate your foot. Getting the foot in was an easier process. Traction was a little better. Only problem is I experienced blisters with both.
I think these shoes are made to adapt to and for your feet to grow stronger from these, the isolated circular square possibly to help with shooters, and these are just guesses. (Lebron Fan Btw, So not just curry riding..)
I'm not a shoe guy. Not a basketball guy. I thought he was reviewing basketball players and was gonna rant about a 'Curry' on their performance. Fuck me
That’s unfortunate because in my opinion, I think this is the best looking curry shoe to date
Sure is
No
the blisters could be a cause of wide feet in a tight shoe
Under armour shoes is for narrow feet. I had blisters from under armour ball shoes
Well it's designed for curry
Well I have wide feet but I didn’t get blisters. And I played in them for hours and hours
@@thatboijacobfontanilla1388 yeah me too I even bought another pair after I thrashed them I didn’t get blisters
I've been hooping in them for a while. My hoop sessions last about two hours and i also play numerous pick up games in them. They DO NOT cause any problem to me, i DON'T have any blister issues. Personally, i like the shoes very much. Hope this will help someone who is hesitating on copping them. If you have wide feet, stay away!!
Hope my feet are narrow enough to wear these well
What if yu are flat footed
I can barely play basketball for 2 hours in most basketball shoes, but my feet are suuper narrow
nightwing didn't even wanna continue in performance testing these lmaoo
any idea why they don't link anymore? and do their usual sneaker trashtalk? @jahronmon @nightwing
Ven Mendez lol
Ven Mendez Qll
wish nike would’ve treated steph better so we could’ve got some 🔥 sneakers
Josh Deaton wdym, curry 4 are 🔥 no lie
Ninito-_- DaNoob they should've had more color ways.to me after the Curry 2.5 his shoes became trash and sales went down by media. I liked the look of the Curry 4 and I'm liking the look of the 5 but idk if they gonna sell alot
Josh Deaton under armour is awesome
Josh Deaton I
Ravon Wynns his first Curry 4 Color way sold out wym
"it felt like my foot was invading a space that it was not supposed to be in"
LOL LOL
You know where that foot is
😉😉 lol
Ayeeee shout out to nightwing2303!!
Can't sign that. This is one of the best (If Not the best) Bball shoe I ever had. You should note though that these are nothing for wide feet (which might be why some get blisters). This one feels good after 15-20 minutes of playing in them and I'm a driving shooter that runs a ton on the court.
mine is actually comfortable and i got true to size too here after 6months wearing it
Yep, blister nightmare. Fell in love with design, divorced over the midfoot pinch.
They tore up Nightwing's arches too
Edit: I commented before I got to the prt of the video where he literally pulled up nightwing saying this
Maybe I'm one of the lucky ones who doesn't have any problem with the fit. Took my chance, copped it, n been playing in it since then. Never had blisters on my arch or whatsoever and the shoes fit perfectly like a gloves on my feet. Kinda loving it now
Yeah same thing happened to me with the blister it wasn't as bad but it still hurt during gamex
If you do have a wider foot. You can untighten the laces and it will loosen and feel great. It does have a little dead space but the lockdown does feel great. I have the colorway with the translucent bottom. And it works great.
LOL I don't even know why the sole Bros. Love this😂😂😂
And BTW........ Sammy Couldn't feel shit😂
I dont understand how this can happen if UA test their shoes prior to release? Its not like they were under time pressure to release these either 🤔
It just probably didn't happen to the testers feet. Every foot is different.
+Al Vinn I would think they would test such a big sub brand for UA via different testers. Lets say 10 people test the shoe and it happens to 2-3...
I got a blister too, and it happened the same way that it happened to you jahronmon
Damn. My reviews don't lie.
Yeah for sure
Hey I have kind of a wide foot but I am 13, what shoe do you recommend?
When is the harden vol.2 review??
God Clutch bleep harden
Jarron, are you still with WearTesters? And you watching Avengers: Infinity War Day 1?
CHRxSTN24 Yeah, are you still with wear testers?
When they come out with new color ways there will be all solid rubber outsole, that will fix the traction. And as for the pinching you might not have played with them enough and didn’t break them in enough!!!!
I'm 10000% confident I played in them longer than the Sole Bros played in their pairs. We can bet on it too.
it's what i've come to expect out of the weartesters team, just an honest and fair review. kinda disappointing to hear it doesn't perform as well as it should since the shoe aesthetically looks the best so far in the curry line imo.

Looks good for a casual shoe
Untucked Uncle Drew it’s not a casual shoe
Mac Anderson Maybe I worded it wrong. What I'm trying to convey is that it would look good as just a shoe to wear and not play ball in due to the affects caused when playing ball in them.
Untucked Uncle Drew yeah ik what u mean ur right. they look nice.
I agree..they look good for every day use i think..not for playing basketball
agreed might actually pick them up for tech wear ootd stuff haha
when the curry's finally get back to looking good they give you blisters.
It's 2022 but still i got may curry 5. for me it'son fire when i Play it on Court
These shoes look dope being rocked casually and honestly alot of the retro Jordan's hurt your feet and they're heavy but no one speaks on that cause they're so hyped.
I feel like they should consider recalling the shoe if it’s really that bad. A LOT of people have been reporting that issue.
Okay guys its time to give up on jahronmon making a harden vol 2, kobe protro or why not 0.1 review
This reveiw was so honest in my opinion. I had the same reacts and thoughts about it. Thanks for reviewing so well for others :D
The Sole Brothers stay hyping these shoes up! Thanks for the update!
I used to have blisters in that same area wearing ice skating shoes. U over-pronate, hence a blister will form in that specific area of ur foot 10/10
Really? This isn't happening to me in any other shoes? My gate is still the same.
I have no issues with the Curry 5 whatsoever. Wear ankle supports if your feet are wide. That should help you avoid blisters.
I don't think this was intended to be a real on court performance ball shoe considering when it came out. Probably some experiment Underarmour is doing. I mean we didn't even get a Curry 4.5 yet.
You think they'd put a non-performance model on their star athlete? I don't think so...
Naw I don't but I don't know that he's played in them yet? I was thinking maybe they will release a variant of the model that was more towards performance but yea i'm just speculating. So i'm not saying i'm right or anything.

DingisMaximus he is having ankle problems so they probably just released it early
Curry 5 is a good shoe btw, the only downside is the part where he get blister is the part where i get blisters and muscles cramps too, i think it is because of the lack of suppor because there is no outsole underneath it.
Under Armour be like:
We need to make Jahronmon 1's
Every shoe fits differently than the other. I didn’t have any of the reviewer’s problems with the curry 5. The shoe support and traction is good enough for me and it looks good wearing them casually as well.
I wonder how long it took him to make that three pointer in the intro 😂😂😂
Great video keep up the good work jaharamon
I'm using that shoe about 2 months but but the only problem that i have is that shoe is a dust collector, that shoe is a insane performer🔥🔥
As long as you provide your true honest opinion it should not matter if it is negative or positive. That is what reviews are all about.
Gonna pick this up. I wear ankle brace all the time so the blister won’t be problem. Just hope the cushion is decent when compared to Charged cushion.
Let's see how this C5's will hold up
I've personally never owend a pair of SC signiture's, but I'm glad to see him finally getting away from the high tops
Good, upfront review.
Just like every review.
As I said, for me, this review was good and upfront. I don't know if all your other reviews are just as upfront -- it's clear that you think so -- but certainly I wouldn't suggest that all of your reviews are equally as good.
Noel Quitoriano could be,
just remember it's just a review and reviews are ppls opinions
Noel Quitoriano I think because his playstyle in basketball
So @JAHRONMON..You had mentioned "wide feet"...i have wide feet and I'm looking to purchase new hooping shoes because it has been a while...what would you recommend what basketball shoes to buy?
I honestly thing the curry 5 look the cleanest, but I feel that I wouldn't wear them to perform in, but as a more casual everyday shoe, but I normally wear my curry 2s and curry 3s when playing basketball, I'm not big on how the curry 4 feel on feet
My best curry shoes
6.Curry 1
5.Curry 5
4. Curry 3
3. Curry3Zero
2.Curry 2/2.5
1. Curry 4
*_(this is my opinion)_*
I think blisters may partially be caused by the traction and the fit. On ones with solid rubber instead of translucent one, it may be a lot better. However, I am just going to pick this up as a casual shoe and shoot around once in awhile since it looks so dope. Still waiting for a low top that performs and looks good since Kobe 11.
What mic you using for recording vids? Please let me know!
You might just need to break it in
Josh Miles right
I wonder how many takes he had to do for that jumpshot in the intro, lol
Remember idiots we all have different feet, different widths and obviously lengths. I had the same problem with the Nike Hyperdunks.
I got blisters from underarmour ball shoes too, they seem to be for guys with narrow feet. If you have wide feet, like me, then its very unfortunate.
I think that the Curry 5s are the best shoes in the game. I don’t understand the hate that Curry and his shoes get. To me the Curry’s are the best shoes in he game. Nothing flashy but just solid performance shoes ... Curry balled out btw in the Curry 5s... I need answers.
I do recommend a size up because the curry line does fit pretty slim
hey @jahronmon! thoughts on the design! you were pretty high on the curry 4 in terms of the silhouette, even though you didn't like the rest of the shoe? i actually thought the 4s look fire! and i would still cop the 4s again for a casual shoe just because of how unique it looks... what are your thoughts on the curry 5s (design?)
"Its one of the most unique balls"
Just copped the curry 5 'three rings' .... Thank you for this review as well
jahronmon summed up in this vid, “if u want a sneaker that doesn’t suck then these sneakers arnt for u
Thnx for the review brow, it helps a lot.
Thanks for the unbiased content. And great game play as always.
Any chance you can review the Adidas Mad Bounce? I'm thinking of getting a pair. I'd like to know how they perform. Thanks, man. Keep doing you. Great videos.
Clutch! Just watched before the restock happens. Passing on this now
Great and honest review. Same details of which Nightwing said on his review. Such a shame another good-looking shoe turns out to be a bad performer (e.g. Nike Kobe AD). (P.S. What is wrong with the lighting on your video?)
JAHRONMON bro, why’d you shave the beard man that shit was your signature! #bringitback
Maybe it was just to tight for you,i also experienced a blister on my kyrie 4 due to my father chosed 9.5 even though my foot's size was 10
great review Jahron, keepin it real and entertaining...once again a brand shows the perfect example of what happens when you put storytelling and novelty before functionality, practicality and performance...i still dont know why the hell they stopped using microg if it was so damn good! and then they go for these wack designs for SC...they had created one of the best shoes ever in the anatomix and they evolve to this? wtf ua
Bro thanks for introducing me to this ball I got one and it is FIRE 🔥🔥🔥
Ded Dog is it worth it and how much is it?
It was $70 but I love it
i’ve had these for like 6 months and they are really good. you might just have to break them in or maybe you have wide feet
is it a good causal shoe?
Nice review homie
Thank you for the review
That blister bruh
Lol how many curry highlights have u watched bro😂💪💪ur form is preeeetty identical to his
yo, WearTesters said the same thing @3:00 about the sides cutting into his foot and putting a hole in his foot lol damn
Shows you how important the shoes are , Steph Curry is the best shooter ever , shoes don’t do anything , it’s all show.
I had a problem with the Curry 4 ,it was my first under armour shoe, don't think Igonna buy another one
Definitely go wi th the solid rubber outsole. The liquid and hollow rubber versions don't work right.
I think these shoes are made to adapt to and for your feet to grow stronger from these, the isolated circular square possibly to help with shooters, and these are just guesses. (Lebron Fan Btw, So not just curry riding..)
If I take half size more than my real size will I get in trouble? A quick response would be very convenient
Too be honest the only shoe that they have been having problems with is that Home Craze color way or the all black same thing with solebrothers.
Usually a wider foot is the cause of the blister
Lmao how many takes did the intro need?
Are you from the Bay?
Try the curry 5 high cut in a different color way
That type of curry 5 is amazing
Damn, my foot is bigger and I’m only 15. Size 11. LMAO
I'm not a shoe guy. Not a basketball guy.
I thought he was reviewing basketball players and was gonna rant about a 'Curry' on their performance.
Fuck me
I have the black and silver ones and they are comfy asf🙂
they dont seem that bad but i just orderd a pair for next year today cant wait
It is made for steph. It is up to you to buy it. The one who buys this shoe are steph curry fan. I have my pair though.
Do you think it’s too late for UA to fix the design? It seemed early for them to release the five anyway.
The issue on the curry 5 is very similar to the issue from the Kobe 7. It did the same blister on my foot. Yes, it is very painful. I can relate.
Says this Curry is bad, has ads under the vid to "shop Curry 5s"
How many times did it take you to score that shot in the opening?
Are you going to do a separate video for the season ball?
