I never watched Dr. Who growing up but I can see why people liked it so much in its prime. Much like Star Trek it had compelling and naturally diverse characters with real emotions, flaws, strengths and obstacles to overcome. And also like Star Trek it’s become a shell of its former self, now dull, simplified, and full of needless pandering to a new audience that never appreciated the source material to begin with. It’s unfortunate to see beloved stories, games, and other media tarnished due to greed and self-righteous politics but perhaps it’s better to cherish how great they once were rather than dwell on what they are now.

Some corrections that will make this episode even more stupid that it already is: The "Devil's Chord" is what summons Maestro, right? The so-called "lost chord"? But that's just a tritone, which isn't even known as a chord but an interval. It's called the "Devil's Interval" because of how dissonant it sounds and is therefore not used in sacred music (other than the fact that it's actually hard to sing). It was never banned from the Church, either, unlike what the show stated. The tritone is used in a lot of pieces throughout the centuries, and one of the most famous uses of it in the modern era is in the _Simpsons_ theme; it's literally the first thing you hear in an episode. The chord that banishes Maestro is nothing more than a C major chord, C - E - G. It's the first (tonic) chord of the C major scale, which happens to be the first scale a pianist will learn, and it would appear in other scales as well like the G major scale. If that specific piano wasn't needed to defeat Maestro, he would have been gone whenever a pianist is practicing his chords.

I agree with you here. They really could have done so much more with this especially since they heavily advertised the Beatles so much for this episode and they could have even had a scene where they have a full on showdown with Maestro. It also sucks how they didn’t get a cover band like the Bootleg Beatles or another group to have played them for the casting as they would have actually looked more like them. To be honest, It’s probably a blessing that no cover was casted due to the way things are with this show right now.
Ncuti Gatwa is not playing The Doctor, he's playing himself disguised as The Doctor, it's almost like when they chose him that they read off a checklist of requirements: -Black (check) -Queer (check) -first person born outside the UK to play the character (check) -Scottish (double check) personally i believe the 16th Doctor needs to be an actor who knows the character well and I think Moffat should return as showrunner, I'd write for Doctor Who if i could cus i know i've got a much better ideas for the show than reminding everybody about what my sexuality is like RTD and focussing on the actors sexuality playing The Doctor, we'd also get better villains than a fecking drag queen.

Someone will have to explain how, if Maestro ate all the music in the 20's, the Beatles are even there. There would have been no Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Elvis, et al. Without early rock, why would the Beatles have even come together in the first place?

Some corrections that will make this episode even more stupid that it already is:
The "Devil's Chord" is what summons Maestro, right? The so-called "lost chord"? But that's just a tritone, which isn't even known as a chord but an interval. It's called the "Devil's Interval" because of how dissonant it sounds and is therefore not used in sacred music (other than the fact that it's actually hard to sing). It was never banned from the Church, either, unlike what the show stated. The tritone is used in a lot of pieces throughout the centuries, and one of the most famous uses of it in the modern era is in the _Simpsons_ theme; it's literally the first thing you hear in an episode.
The chord that banishes Maestro is nothing more than a C major chord, C - E - G. It's the first (tonic) chord of the C major scale, which happens to be the first scale a pianist will learn, and it would appear in other scales as well like the G major scale. If that specific piano wasn't needed to defeat Maestro, he would have been gone whenever a pianist is practicing his chords.

I agree with you here. They really could have done so much more with this especially since they heavily advertised the Beatles so much for this episode and they could have even had a scene where they have a full on showdown with Maestro.
It also sucks how they didn’t get a cover band like the Bootleg Beatles or another group to have played them for the casting as they would have actually looked more like them.
To be honest, It’s probably a blessing that no cover was casted due to the way things are with this show right now.

personally i believe the 16th Doctor needs to be an actor who knows the character well and I think Moffat should return as showrunner, I'd write for Doctor Who if i could cus i know i've got a much better ideas for the show than reminding everybody about what my sexuality is like RTD and focussing on the actors sexuality playing The Doctor, we'd also get better villains than a fecking drag queen.
Well, Moffat just dropped his episode and it's absolutely terrible, so no. Moffat was never very good, hence why the show started dying under him--he's imaginative but only works well with someone over his shoulder to keep him in check.
