Reba loves Dolly so dang much, I just can't see why they have not collaborated on songs like this one, Jolene, that would be a hoot, or old song of Dolly's, like the one Reba recored Starting Over, which was also the album's name as well. Reba saw it as a chance to start fresh in her mind, she said she had done everything at that point that she wanted to do, and she wanted to start over, start something new, and I'm sure the thought of regaining her Royalty in Country Music also crossed the red hot super stars mind as well. Reigning as the QUEEN OF COUNTRY MUSIC is not an easy job, but our girl Reba sure makes it look easy, that's all in part of her hard working ethic and willingness to survive against any odds and since then she sure has done more than Climb That Mountain High, She has taken that Mountain and Conquered all it had to throw at her. I thank God, that Red Stegall found her and ofcourse I thank The Queen herself REBA !! They all did do a good job at the dedication to Loretta it was nice of them to do that for her.

For those who have been speculating about Martina's voice, she mentioned in an interview recently that she went through a bout of laryngitis a few years back during one of her tours but forced herself to just keep powering through it anyway and ended up "picking up some bad habits that she is now working hard with a coach to undo". Which to me sounds like a nice professional way to say "I damaged my voice", lol. But anyway, late 2016 (including this performance) through 2018ish was when it was at its worst. You can tell from recent performances that whatever she's doing is working! When I saw her live right before COVID shut everything down, her body language was more comfortable and relaxed and confident than I had ever seen from her before (she was downright radiant!), and her sound had improved accordingly! None of the visible straining that she had been doing for most of the past decade even before the vocal decline. And she sounded as powerful as ever on the mid-range stuff! It was a stark contrast to this performance, where she looked super uncomfortable even trying to hit easy mid-range notes. She'll obviously never be back to the way she was in her prime, but she is doing way better now than she was in this video
