Don't know if you watched them along with the main story but this event had some voiced side quests called Irodori Anecdotes. I would recommend watching them as well as they explore many of the other Inazuman characters that didn't appear in the main story as well as some Kleeventures in Inazuma.
Highly agreed! Especially given how much she loves some of the characters featured in them!
I 3rd this. Absolutely worth the watch, even if coming back to it later.
So this event is a lil special because it's the first international event we got. Every event prior to this were all just characters from one nation. So seeing a varied cast from different nations was definitely exciting.
Also ironic and fitting since this event was set in Inazuma. A nation introduced to us as isolated and hard to get to.
Ughhhh the contrasts between Kazuha and Kuni's storyyyyy
The roots of the Gokaden's downfall that Kazuha will never know but Kunikuzushi apparently still carries
The bitterness and rage that Kuni externalizes VS the reconciliation and peace within that Kazuha pursues
And how ultimately both these intertwined histories lead to the events of the Inazuma Archon Quest - the Delusion factory, the proxy war, the Crux's timely support of the Resistance, Kazuha parrying the Shogun's blade and creating an opening for Vega.....
I LOVE IT. I LOVE IT ALL.
this guy that you watch only record the Main part of the Quest he skip the Character interaction a lot basically this is like the speed run version of the event.
Calx is Latin for chalk, and Albedo is the Chalk Prince, because Genshin seems to be using an analogy where if people are made from 'soil', Albedo is made from 'chalk', a purer substance. Albedo mean "whiteness" (and a term in alchemy referring to a stage in creating a philosopher's stone I believe) and chalk is a white mineral.
As a side note, the other stages are Rubedo (redness), Cinitras (Yellow), and Negredo (blackness). If you complete all these steps you can create "Gold" and immortality.
Yae Miko saw the sakoku lifted and immediately said "ok now to expand my business 💅🏼"
No kidding, she legit says it in the same scene Ei decides to abolish Sakoku lol
I wonder what her and Ningguang would think of each other asfg@@cynical_perks8725
I love irodori festival because the characters feels like they are not bound by their nation and interacting internationally. There are also the side quest in irodori fest where you can watch many of your fav characters interact with each other apart from irodori's main story so if you have time be to sure to enjoy their story too..
The Klee/Yoimiya interaction you were looking for takes place during this event but all the character interactions that weren't part of the investigation are missing from that upload you reacted to
1:26:26 she's cosplaying the main lead in "Pretty Please, Kitsune Guuji?" novel
About Kazuha's great-grandpa getting adopted into and later becoming head of the entire clan, I've been so used to it after studying Japanese history that it never occurred to me as strange, but it seems like it wasn't a universal tradition after all. In historical Japan however, it was very common especially during the sengoku era for daimyo, samurai, or big families to adopt children (often war orphans) to raise as heirs, especially since at that time daimyo and samurai children would often die in battle or from enemy attacks at a very young age and leave the families heirless. A lot of famous samurai came to inherit their houses/clans that way
The "Kunikuzushi" part sadly confused (and still to this day confuses) a lot of ppl because it wasn't really clear in the English version of the game, so I'll just put this here for clarification because it's not made clear anywhere else in the game. Kunikuzushi translates to "country/nation destroyer" or perhaps "destruction of country/nation". Many players theorize or assume it's Scaramouche's "given or past name" bcos of the scene, but as you can tell, the meaning hints at something completely different
It is always pleasant to see more of Ayato and Sara.
Just when i was abt to re-binge all your genshin videos lol
Maaan you always upload at the best times im so exiteeeed, this event was so fuuun! I cant wait to see you react to the lore in this, it's so gooood 😩👌👌
As a fun fact, the translation for the writing on the weapon blueprint shows that the materials added to it when sabotaged were Dendrobium and Amethyst. It is kind of poetic, if you actually understand Scaramouche's motives for going against the Schools ;)
Dendrobium: a flower that blooms "where much blood was spilled"...
Amethyst: an inazuman forging material that is used to forge the weapons of the Amethyst Series, including the Katsuragikiri Nagamasa...
Ahhh I love that! The poetry! The symbolism! Can’t deny that Scaramouche has a certain flair haha
What a nice surprise! Didn't expect to get a video so quick after the stream, this will do great for a watch before sleep
It seems that this video didn't include the side missions of the event, highly recommend watching those too! They are lighthearted and fun voiced quest with another characters
(spoilers for this event under the cut if you haven't watched the video yet)
We never get a solid answer as to who Albedo talked to in order to create the Kunikuzushi painting, but the predominant theory is that it was probably Yae, since we know Yae has met/seen Scaramouche in the past and would thus be able to describe his appearance.
The event ending didn't feel quite as abrupt when playing it because we got to run around and talk to all the characters again afterwards for some extra dialogue, but there were definitely details that were deliberately omitted to keep theorizing and information about Scaramouche ongoing (in order to ramp up hype before his role in the Sumeru story and his release as a playable character). There are a LOT of sources from events to notes scattered around the world to multiple sets of artifact lore that trickled out info on him before release, and it was a fun puzzle trying to piece together his past ahead of time!
Fun Fact#86 : CONTAINS SPOILERS OF INAZUMA ARCHON QUEST
Did you know, the Raiden Shogun puppet was created only to rule the nation and make it last an eternity to the extent that the puppet does not have the skill to cook anything?
If you go to the list where you can select characters to cook to gain bonuses and such, Raiden's profile says, "This character cannot cook." And you cannot choose her.
Also, apart from the traveler, Raiden Shogun is the only character without a special dish.
Ohhh I didn't get to participate in this event because I was away for college at that time but this whole massacre of the Raiden Gokkaden now makes sense to me and why it was so important after the events in Sumeru AQ. I didn't know Scaramouche was involved in it :0
What a surprise!
Ahhh whoops! I mentioned yesterday, but I completely forgot to mention today, haha. Maybe I should make a post…
In any case, enjoy! ^^
i want albedo so bad i really hope theres a mondstat chronicled again 😭
That username caught me off guard 😂
I wonder if you'll also watch this event's sidequests. They were also voiced and involved playable characters. They were called anecdotes or something, and there are four of them. Pretty short but have really cool character interactions :3
Oh, how I miss long, meaningful story events. We don't get them anymore T_T
Now a few interesting things for you.
Albedo and Venti met during the first Windblume festival.
Lady with fox ears is a cosplayer XD
Sara was the one who fought Kazuha's friend in a duel before the throne.
