I absolutely love the mix between spirituality, art and interior design. Not only on your videos but also from your family (Nathan's philosophical story telling is so so exquisite!) THANK YOU!
Wow, thank you so much for all your support!!!! What a wonderful thing to say!!! and yes I agree, Nathan is an incredible storyteller, since he was very little, such a special soul!!! I love him so much!!!
Thank you so much, that means a lot to me. I’m so happy you’re enjoying the channel, and I love that you find it relatable. Meditation really does help, I now can't imagine my life without it :) More coming!!!
Thank you so much for saying that. I feel extremely passionate about personal growth and home decor and about making life beautiful, magical, but still real. It’s so important. I want to share the idea that we all have the power to live rich, meaningful lives.
I am also practicing meditation and gratitude! It has made such a difference in my life...and it does help me to not overanalyze and get upset about the small things. I also practice yoga which is so beneficial as we age. I love how creative you are, it inspires me to try new projects and thrift more! The treasures you have found are lovely and adding so much character to your lovely home! How lucky are you to be helping your son with his new home - such a gift when our adult children remain close by! Enjoy! :)
Thank you so much for sharing that! It’s wonderful to hear how meditation, gratitude, and yoga have brought so much positivity into your life. They truly are transformative practices, especially as we grow older and prioritize what truly matters. Your kind words about my creativity mean a lot to me. Thrifting and working on new projects really bring me so much joy, and it’s so rewarding to see how those little treasures add character and meaning to a home. Helping my son with his new home has been such a special experience. It’s such a blessing to have him nearby and to share this time together. It’s amazing to see how family bonds evolve and grow as our children step into their own lives. Thank you again for your kind words, and I hope you continue to find joy and inspiration in your yoga, meditation, and creative pursuits. 😊
Cecelia… Absolutely love your vlog! I used to read amagazine called La Vie Claire which was a quarterly publication and I would read it thoroughly in one sitting then suffer the long awaited term til the next…I feel the same with your vlog! Love your accent and your presentation as well as your abilities to bring such acceptance to every issue. I have every one of the issues since its first publication and still love rereading them. Your life journey appears to be packed full of wonderful experiences and treasured memories. It reminds me of my childhood with parents who enjoyed every minute of their lives and were never afraid to try something new. (My dad just passed a year ago February 25 in my arms at the age of 102)…they too lived 7 years to most peoples’ 1… and the friends that they made were numerous and special as were the places that they travelled to. I get lost in your vlogs and it brings me such peaceful moments. Your little pup is so cute! I had yorkies for 57 years but now have two Havanese and a silky. I would love for you to also include some of the exterior and garden s into your vlogs if possible…I’m so sure that they are just as interesting and magnificent as your home. All the spiritual influences are so perfect in a world that seems to be ‘out of balance’ and in a high speed wobble….such words of wisdom are always appreciated. I would love to do something as daring and different as you both have done but I’m 76 and so afraid of flying but I treasure every one of these wonderful vlogs of Italy, France, England, Sweden and more. When caring for my dad 24/7 for 5+ years these vlogs gave me an escape…especially when I retired for the day as they brought peace and beauty to my soul in preparation for sleep. Thank you for what you do with your life and your presentation to us all. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you so much for your beautiful message. It truly touched my heart. Your kind words and reflections on your own experiences feel like a wonderful gift, and I am so grateful you took the time to share them with me. Your story about La Vie Claire is incredibly moving. The way you describe savoring each issue resonates with how I approach creating my vlogs. I try to craft something meaningful that can be a moment of peace and joy for others. It is humbling to know that they bring you the same kind of comfort and inspiration. What an incredible legacy your parents left. Living life so fully and embracing new experiences is such a powerful example. Your father’s journey, and your love and care for him, are truly inspiring. That bond you shared must be a cherished part of your memories. Your years with your Yorkies and now your Havanese and silky are such a testament to the love you bring to those around you, furry friends included. I will definitely keep your suggestion in mind to include more glimpses of the exterior and garden. It is wonderful to know that you are curious about those spaces too. I understand how daunting it can feel to take bold steps, especially when it involves big changes like flying. I believe that bravery shows up in so many forms, and the way you cared for your dad and find meaning in the beauty around you is incredibly courageous. Knowing that my vlogs have brought you peace, especially during such a significant time in your life, means the world to me. Thank you for being part of this community and for sharing your journey. It is connections like these that make what I do so special. Sending you so much gratitude and love.
You’re attitude is wonderful. Like they say when life gives you lemons make lemonade. It’s sounds easy but we all know how difficult & frustrating things can get. I love that you said you will not let this steel your joy. You are very talented & have great taste. I can’t wait to see more of your home & your son’s too. Thanks for sharing your story with us.
Thank you so much for your kind words. Staying focused on joy makes all the difference, and I’m grateful it resonates with you. I can’t wait to share more, it means so much to have your support!
Hullo, through Nathaniel's channel i found your husband's and now i have found yours and what a delight!A peaceful, funny creative gem to watch.Much success and blessings from Canada🙏🤗🎊
Thank you, Mia! I’m so glad you’re enjoying the glimpses into this journey. Your support means so much, and I love that you’re ready for the magic to unfold with me! ✨ You are the best!!!!
Cecilia I love your approach to the unexpected bumps that always seem to pop up in life. The thing I love about you is how you just unharness your creativity in such a fearless way. Yes it’s very inspiring to watch. Yes totally agree that gratitude plays such a big role in how fulfilling our lives are. Thank you for sharing I love watching your sons journey and it’s very exciting to see how you will work together on his new house
Thank you so much for your kind words. They truly mean a lot to me. Life’s unexpected bumps always keep us on our toes, but I have found that creativity and gratitude make all the difference in navigating them. I am so touched that you find inspiration in the way I approach things. I am so glad you have been enjoying watching my son’s journey. It has been such a special experience for me, and I am thrilled to be part of this new chapter with him as we work on his house. Thank you for your excitement and encouragement. It means so much.
Lovely, thoughtful content, Cecilia. I very much appreciate the focus on working on what we can and keeping the small annoyamces and frustrations of life in perspective. As my husband's late grandmother used to sayabout those, "May these be our problems!" 🙏 And definitely yes to organizing, decorating, and restoring items content! You have excellent taste and the house looks gorgeous, cozy, and inviting. 😍
Thank you so much for your kind words! I love your husband’s late grandmother’s saying, such a wise perspective to keep in mind. I’m so glad you’re enjoying the content and the focus on creating warm, inviting spaces. Your encouragement means so much!
@AnArtistsLifeYT We often quote her saying to remind each other that it's not worth fretting over certain disappointments and frustrations when we're annoyed at something relatively inconsequential (when it comes down to it). It really does help put things into perspective! 😄
You are truly an inspiration! You have the most amazing sense of style. I love interior design but I don’t always have the ideas like you do. It’s pretty amazing what you have accomplished ❤
Thank you so much! for your kind words! It means a lot to hear that you find inspiration in what I do. Interior design is such a joy for me, and I’m so grateful to share it with others. Your support truly motivates me! I super appreciate you :)
Thank you so much. Your kind words mean so much to me. I’m so happy to hear that you feel inspired and connected to the spiritual aspects I share. Organizing is so important for a busy mind like mine too, it helps create space for clarity and calm, both physically and energetically, so I'll probably do a video about that. Sending you lots of love and light.
Cecilia, I would love to see how you transform a piece of furniture or any piece of decor to make it look vintage! Looking forward to your next video. Your house is looking fantastic ❤
I really appreciated and enjoyed this update. Your ability to transform furniture and decorative accents into works of art is inspiring. I appreciate your willingness to take us along with you on this journey. Your capacity to contend with a lot of challenging circumstances with grace and skill is heartening.
Thank you so much! for your kind message. It means a lot to me and truly warms my heart. I’m so glad you find inspiration in my work. Sharing this journey with you is a privilege, and your thoughtful words about facing challenges with grace mean so much. I deeply appreciate your encouragement and support, it’s messages like yours that make this all so meaningful.
Hola! Feliz Año nuevo! I follow your family, you all contribute so much introspective content and daily “humanness.” I always feel good. Your trials and failures add to your likability, we are all not too far off the same growth path. Some of us travel on different “trains,” at different speeds and to different destinations. Thank you for sharing with us.
Hi! Happy New Year! Thank you for your kind words. It means a lot to know that what we share resonates with you. I love how you described our journeys as traveling on different trains. We’re grateful you’re part of this with us! 😊
Cecilia, thank you for sharing that things don't always go according to plan, I think this is the gift that your whole family gives to a viewer. I really appreciate your patience with the process and it reminds me of a part of Thich Nhat Hanh's meditation "present moment, wonderful moment." You are so talented and willing to jump in even when you are not sure how to proceed, that is inspiring!
Thank you so much for such a thoughtful message. It means a lot to hear that our journey resonates with you in this way. I love that connection to Thich Nhat Hanh’s meditation, 'present moment, wonderful moment' really says it all. It is such a gift to embrace the process, even when things do not go as planned. Your kind words and support truly inspire me to keep going!❤️
Absolutely! Maintaining a positive outlook is crucial when adapting to a new culture. Embracing differences with an open mind fosters personal growth and smoother integration. Focusing on proactive personal efforts, rather than dwelling on frustrations, is essential for a successful transition to life in France. Thank you so much for your understanding and support!!!!
Meditation and being grateful, being thankful for the little things. This is so important. I want your shower door to arrive soon, but in the meantime, we will woooosahhhh and continue to be grateful. Love your channel!
Aw, thank you! You're so right, gratitude really is everything. I’m definitely woooosahhhing while I wait for the shower door to show up. So glad you’re loving the channel, that seriously means a lot. Sending good vibes your way too!
I love how you practice "patience with creativity"! What an amazing artist you are plus you're able to inspire your community to embrace something higher within creativity. Thank you. Love you chanel. Can't wait to see your creativity at work at your son's house in the countryside too!
Thank you so much for your beautiful message. It means the world to me that my journey resonates with you and inspires creativity in others. I feel so grateful to be part of such a kind and supportive community. I am really excited to share more about my son’s house in the countryside. It is going to be such a special project. Thank you again for your thoughtful words and support. ❤️
I am sure your son is going to be very grateful for your help not only because of your eye but because it so much more fun to do these projects with someone you care about to share the experience. As for the armoire, I have fun driving through France and stopping at brocantes and finding there are many affordable armoires. Some ridiculously inexpensive, granted they are more in the country side and further away from the main cities. One owner of a brocante told me sometimes he cuts them down for wood because the younger generation would rather have IKEA which broke my heart.
Thank you for your kind words. I know my son appreciates it, and I agree that sharing these projects with someone you care about makes them so much more special. As for the armoire, I completely understand the joy of driving through France and exploring brocantes. There is something magical about finding those hidden treasures, especially in the countryside. It is heartbreaking to think of beautiful armoires being cut down for wood, but I suppose it is a reminder of how much tastes and priorities have shifted. I hope there will always be people like us who can appreciate their beauty and history. Thank you for sharing that story. It makes me want to plan a brocante trip soon!
@@bossa6449 Absolutely :) Here are some places I shop on line www.freepeople.com/france/?ref=logo www.maison123.com/ bylenaetlola.com/collections/blouses www.sezane.com/fr and others are just boutiques I go in person but no web presence. I hope this gets you going :)
Yes Wisdom Warrior! ! Magic Happens! Love what you said about not letting the disappointments steal your joy. Guilty guilty guilty! Always so excited to see when you post a new episode. I know I will get inspired, encouraged, reenergized and learn something. Can't wait to for you to get that friggen glass! LOL
Thank you, girl. Your words mean so much to me. It really is a practice to not let disappointments take over, and I love that we are both working on it. I feel so lucky to have your support and excitement, it really lifts me up. So grateful to have you on this journey with me. ❤️
@@AnArtistsLifeYT Ditto Sister! I adore you and find myself talking about you to others as as my badass new friend and kindred spirit. WE CAN DO THIS!!!! XOXO
I so enjoy watching and hearing about the progress of your projects😊 I struggle with “letting go” of certain things and in others, am able to let go more easily. I appreciate your acknowledgment of all of this. The journey is always a bumpy one😂But at least we grow from it!❤❤
Thank you so much for your kind words. 😊 Letting go can be such a challenge, and it’s always a process of learning and growth. I’m so glad to hear you’re finding moments of progress even through the bumps along the way. ❤ Sending you lots of encouragement as you continue on your journey. ❤️
You are so sweet!!! I never documented my previous home, as I had not idea I would end up on RUclips, and I always felt funny showing my home, it felt "show-offy" and I never wanted to come across like that. In retrospect I wish I did show it, as i didn't realized people find it inspirational. I have lots of video and photos from the sale presentation and home videos from family gatherings so I might do a video on it, but I need time to pull it together :) Thank you for the compliment and for watching :)
A wonderful intersection of DIY as a means to embody and integrate arising awareness! Thank you and more please : ) Lots of love from a viewer from Seattle ☁🌲
Thank you so much for such a thoughtful and inspiring comment. I love the way you captured that idea, it is exactly how I feel about these projects, blending creativity with personal growth. I am so grateful for your support and sending lots of love right back to you in Seattle. ☁🌲✨ More to come, for sure. 😊
Awww, you are sweet!! His home will take a bit, as he is doing a lot of very necessary ugly stuff (electrical and plumbing updates) but it is coming, and it is going to be wonderful, his house is super frenchy and pretty :)
Thank you so much. That means a lot to me. I’m so glad you’re enjoying it, and I can’t wait to share more of what I’m working on with the house. Stay tuned, there’s so much more to come!
Love love love watching you. You are sooo creative. I learn so much from your ideas. . Will love seeing what you do this year . Please make more videos love ❤️❤️ you
Thanks so much 😊 Yes her paint is amazing!!!! I have many projects in line where I use her paints and other brands as well. Those are coming :) Thank you so much for the amazing support!!!!
So glad you started your podcast, you are such a loving, creative, and beautiful person🥰‼️ Love watching the updates on what you’re doing to your home, It is absolutely stunning.‼️
You have an immense respect for beauty 🌟 This is where it all started It gives you an infinite vision , perspective and fulfillment You work very hard and yes , you create magic Within And all around ✨💕✨💕✨💕 Thank you so much 😊❤
Thank you so much for your beautiful words. They feel like poetry themselves and touch my heart deeply. Respecting beauty, both within and around us, is such a meaningful journey, and I’m grateful to share a piece of that with you. Your kindness and understanding truly shine. ✨💕✨💕✨💕 Sending gratitude and warmth your way.😊
An interesting aspect going on right now is mars retrograde in cancer.. Mars can be frustration and anger, while cancer has to do with home, inner sanctuary and emotions. And retrograde has to do with re-doing, reevaluation and inward motion. And so just as mars went retrograde a new guy moved in the apartment beneath me, it turns out he's a gamer, and he was talking 24/7 very loud - sitting just under my bed 😭.... talking about frustrations that has to do with home😩 I believe it must be a theme for a lot of people right now in different ways. Definitely a challenge to remain in high vibration in the midst of triggers and challenges. But important. Thank you for really good content. 👌
Thank you for sharing your experience. It is fascinating how astrological events like Mars retrograde can manifest in such literal ways. Frustrations tied to home and personal sanctuary can definitely test our ability to stay grounded and in a positive vibration. As for the new neighbor, this could be an opportunity to channel your creative energy and turn the situation to your advantage. Think of it as a fun challenge to win him over. Maybe try a friendly gesture, like bringing muffins, and use positive energy to open the conversation. You could kindly suggest he use headphones or adjust his setup in a way that works better for both of you. By approaching it with warmth and creativity, you might not only resolve the noise issue but also transform a potential frustration into a surprising win for both of you. Sending good vibes your way, let us know how it goes! 🙌✨
@AnArtistsLifeYT Thanks for the suggestions - good ones! I have spoken to him 4 times, and in a very very loving, honest and kind manner, he's a very sweet guy, and actually he have adjusted himself... And the first week after it was great, I was very happy, and thought of all the chocolate I wanted to buy him 😅 I met him again and praised him and poured a lot of love and kindness to him (I'm also cancerian).. But then he started again, just with less noise but still, bad enough for me... And I spoke to him again yesterday, and he said he couldn't do more... However he has left the apartment for the night (surely because of me) 😅... So now I have decided to move, because I also don't want to limit his life, and I cannot live with it as it is ❤️ 🙏
@@k.h.7575 You have shown incredible kindness and patience in handling this situation. It is truly inspiring how you approached it with love and understanding. Deciding to move is a big step but it shows how much you value not only your peace but more importantly your power. Taking charge of the situation is such a strong move and I am confident that great opportunities will come your way in unexpected and beautiful ways. ❤🙏
@@k.h.7575 Wow! That would be a major problem for me as well. That is amazing that you have decided to move. Let' hope it will be a blessing in disguise and you find a better apt and who knows what else!
The little glimpse of your bathroom looks beautiful! Look forward to seeing the finished product and also the rest of your home. Any updates on your visas, learning French and overall life in France?
"Thank you! 😊 We’re really happy with how it’s coming together and can’t wait to share more once it’s finished. As for updates, we recently got our long-stay visa renewed, but we’re in the process of resubmitting for the working visa. It seems like our application may have gotten buried somewhere, as we haven’t heard back. Josh is making great progress with French, he really enjoys learning languages! I’m chipping away at it too, but my real passion is the freedom to express myself, rather than diving deep into the details of language learning. It’s definitely more challenging at our age, especially since we’re mega introverts and don’t socialize much. But despite that, we’re absolutely loving life here, France is such a beautiful country!
Just curious about your kitchen appliances.. were they bought in France or did you have to change power source? Can’t wait to see your new videos on Chalk Painting😊🙏❤️
Lovely. ☺️ You should book a stay at Château de la Lande so you can meet Nati, a fellow transplanted Argentinian. That would be a super fun vlogging mashup!
Thank you so much! Your kind words truly mean a lot to me. I'm so grateful you noticed and appreciated my efforts, it keeps me inspired to keep going! ❤️
I don't often feel a video speaks to me, but I just received a birthday gift of a kitchen scale and that I wanted. The color is the most horrible bright blue stainless steel...so I have been upset since I opened a few hrs ago. How am I going to get a replacement. In the great scheme of things I remind myself that this is nada but I needed to hear what you said as a reminder for that has been my philosophy for a long time. Now as I am writing this, I suddenly think that the blue could be the plastic that often covers a new stainless product, though I have never seen blue. I just checked and it is blue plastic!!!! I wonder what made me think of this just now??? When something like this upsets me, I usually think about what is happening in the rest of the world to people who truly have something to be upset about. Like you I am a daily meditator and I thank God for my wonderful house and garden, health and so much more. I live on Cape Cod and since covid there have been a shortage of contractors and workers because so many people decided to make their summer home their permanent one. So I have not gotten to square one for some needed renovation...so I will enjoy watching you and be inspired.
Isn't it incredible how our minds sometimes take a moment to untangle a situation? That realization about the blue plastic feels like a small miracle of perspective, like life giving you a gentle nudge to remind you that things aren’t always as they seem. Your philosophy and gratitude really come through, and it’s inspiring to hear how meditation and reflection help you navigate life’s little challenges. It’s amazing how quickly a shift in focus from a kitchen scale to the bigger picture can bring so much clarity and peace. I’ve spent time in Cape Cod and absolutely love it. It’s such a magical place. Trust that the universe will surprise you with how to get your projects finished. Take a moment to ask your higher self for ideas, then sit back and let the solutions come in ways you never expected. You’ve got this!
Merci beaucoup pour votre message, cela me touche énormément ! Je suis ravi que mes vidéos puissent vous inspirer. Votre soutien signifie beaucoup pour moi. 😊
How did you learn to create all of this? Did you attend art school or teach yourself? You have such an eye for decorating combined with all the abilities to manage a project. Bravo! 🥰
OMG, you are so sweet. I have an art degree in graphic design, but honestly, I feel like I should have studied interior design. Whenever I work on spaces in a home, I get so excited. It is like I instinctively know what is needed. Somehow, I just get it. Colors, textures, proportions, it all comes together as if I am speaking another language. I absolutely love it. That said, to do things right I need time to find the perfect pieces, and that can be a challenge. Doing RUclips in a new country adds to it, especially with the limitations of not knowing the secret spots here like I did back in the U.S. In any case, thank you so much for the kind comment and support!!!!
Happy New Year Cecilia! I'm so happy for you that your channel is going well and wish you continued joy in your new life in France. We have bought our home here in NZ and I am starting the process of curating for a new space :) I am on the hunt for some new moroccan rugs and thought you might have a good suggestion of which companies you liked best in your quest. I love the blue runner with the crosses you have by your living room door. Would you want to share where that can be found? Salude to you and Josh and the boys. Paula
Hello Paula, It’s absolutely wonderful to hear from you! I’m so excited for you as you settle into your new home in New Zealand, it must be such an adventure. I’d love to hear more about what’s been going on in your life. Are you enjoying the new country? How does it feel to be living on such a different continent? Things on our end are moving along slowly, emphasis on slowly, as we try to get organized and settled here. The visa process has been quite a challenge, and I’m not yet able to sell my jewelry, so patience has been the big lesson lately. On another note, I wanted to share an amazing contact I have for Moroccan rugs. Here’s his Etsy shop: RugofWool. He’s also available on WhatsApp if you’d like his direct contact. What’s really great is that you can even send him a photo from somewhere else, and he can customize it to your preferred colors and size. He’s such a sweet person to work with. As for the runner with the crosses, it’s actually black and made of jute. I purchased it from another vendor on Etsy, but it seems their shop has left Etsy. However, you might be able to find them by their name: DurriesIndiaArt. I hope you and your family are doing well! I’d love to know how the girls are and whatever you’re happy to share about how things are going for all of you. With much love, Cecilia
felicidades!!! me encanta tu canal. I love your approach to life and beauty. congratulations on your new house and I'm looking forward to learning a lot from you.
Gracias de corazón! Me alegra que te guste el canal y mi enfoque. Estoy emocionado por esta nueva etapa con la casa y feliz de compartir todo lo que venga. Un abrazo!
Thank you so much! I have so many books, and I’ll probably do a video where I share why I love physical decor books. The one you saw, which I think is my favorite book ever, is A Life Less Ordinary by Zoe Ellison and Alex Legendre. Thank you for watching :)
Thank you so much!!!! you are so kind. I am working on getting a working visa, so that I can reopen my online shop. I will announce it as soon as I get that sorted :) Thank you for asking and for watching :)
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I am sorry to hear you feel that way. I try to share practices I have learned to cope with setbacks and difficulties, as they are such a big part of the process for me. I really appreciate your feedback and will keep it in mind. I have been thinking about incorporating more non-talking visuals, and your comment encourages me to explore that further. Thank you again for taking the time to share, and I hope future videos resonate more with you.
@@maggiegray1698 Thank you so much for sharing your feedback. I truly appreciate hearing your perspective. I will definitely take your suggestion into account and work on improving this in future videos. Your input means a lot and helps me continue to grow as a creator.
I would be too impatient. For example, I would contact a different company to do the glass shower screens. Then I would send the slow company an email asking for a refund because they failed to provide the product and service you requested and paid for. 🤔
I understand your perspective. France operates differently from the USA, and explaining these differences would take time. I'll address this in a future video. The systems here are distinct, and I'm focusing on proactive personal efforts rather than getting frustrated with the processes. This is a crucial aspect of relocating to France or any EU country. Thank you for the suggestion, and for watching :)

I am so happy you have your own channel now. Thank you
You are so sweet!!!! Thank you for the support!!!

Thank you for your wisdom and showcasing your amazing skills!!
So nice of you, what a kind message, thank you so much!!!!

OMG, thank you, you are so sweet!!!! much appreciated!!!!
Absolutely! Attitude is everything! Anger & frustration is self harm.
Love this!!! And I'm really looking forward to all the projects! 🥰
Yay! Thank you! You are the best!!! I really appreciate the support!!!!
Love your blouse! Wish I could find 10 of them but with 3/4 sleeves as I'm short.

I really like your style!! Did you ever documented how you styled your previous home?
You are so sweet!!! I never documented my previous home, as I had not idea I would end up on RUclips, and I always felt funny showing my home, it felt "show-offy" and I never wanted to come across like that. In retrospect I wish I did show it, as i didn't realized people find it inspirational. I have lots of video and photos from the sale presentation and home videos from family gatherings so I might do a video on it, but I need time to pull it together :) Thank you for the compliment and for watching :)

Love your videos so much, Cecilia and would be very interested in an organizing video, thank you.-

Love your creativity, attitude and enthusiasm ❤
J'aime beaucoup vos vidéos ils sont inspirants. Merci de ce beau partage!😊
