- GOKU IS LOCKED IN!!! Sparking Zero Cant stop winning with their all new story mod or should I say episode mode! This time in the goku story we are checking out another all new what if path where Goku is forced to take on the saiyans without any training from king kai! This leads him back to namek only to be me with an even stronger foe than Frieza!?

I really like the 2 Nappa fights for this one. It shows that instead of being cocky and looking down on them completely, they actually did some training because "another Saiyan beat Raditz." I like the additional stuff they do to play to the lore

The vegeta story what ifs are probably my favorite so far. One of his against cell with trunks kinda made me wish that's how it actually went, would've been great character progression.

They don't use the senzu beans all the time because of their warrior's pride/honor. There's a moment where Cell tells Goku to take a senzu bean when he's winning, and Goku doesn't take it. Even Krillin didn't try to give him one.
Thats more like Goku is confident in Gohan and doesnt feel like he will need one, and Krillin is cautious of Goku giving away Senzus.
@JayceCH. yeah, I was thinking about that confidence in Gohan bit and I'm sure it's part of it, but the only one trying to get a senzu bean to Goku was Trunks. Goku didn't give Cell a senzu until later

Idk if you would like this info or it might help others, but I could post a few How-to for each for the characters Sparking Episodes.
*Goku
- Work with Piccolo in the "The Earth's Mightiest Duo" mission in Chapter 1, and then beat Raditz as fast as you can in the
mission "Rematch and Result". Doing this will unlock "Pushing the Limit" arc.
- His second one can also be found in Chapter 1 and it's called "Side by Side". To unlock this, you'll need to choose to go it
alone in the very first mission. Once you've done this, you'll need to actually "Wear down Raditz" in a given time. Doing this
will unlock the rest of the scenario.
- His 3rd what-if story related to Goku is called "The Changing Future" and it's found in the Android/Cell Arc (Chapter 3).
In the mission "Hyperbolic Time Chamber", Goku is presented with a choice of either helping Piccolo against Cell or leaving him to his devices so he can train. If you choose to go and help out Piccolo, you'll unlock the "The Changing Future" scenario.
It’s all straightforward tbh and there’s already tons of answers on google. The only one people might have an issue with is the crusher ball you have to deflect since it doesn’t specifically tell you that’s what you need to do but that’s the cannon path. Almost all the sparking episodes are the exact same, just beat the guy as fast as possible or chose a different dialogue option there’s no real trick to it.
@@dbzcollector9963 Well you do have to do them on specific missions, and you can't see them unless you back out of the story and pick the story mission itself or pause and look at the mission details. And the Jeice/Burter one isn't really a what-if, just a small change you can see, like a few others they do if you want to try something different.
@@Darisuke it shows you which missions branch out tho and it still tells you what you have to do for basically all of them. There’s still no need for a guide, just play the game naturally and once you pass it like you should. Just go back and you’ll see all the branches, with details on how to unlock them all. There’s also some dialogue options that don’t unlock until you do certain things. Like in the vegeta episodes, you don’t get the option to shake off babadis mind control if you don’t do something else before hand but it doesn’t tell you what. Those are the ones that guides would be necessary, even tho it’s simple. All you gotta do is beat trunks without taking too much damage to get the extra dialogue option.

Calling Goku and Vegeta going Super Saiyan early crazy is kind of crazy in itself. The what if stories in the story mode were really tame especially in comparison to some what ifs from old Budokai Tenkaichi games. Like the one arc where all the villains joined forced to defeat the Z fighters. The actual craziest what if episode in the game comes from Gohan's story mode and even then the best part of that story mode isn't available for play outside of it.

So this would be a Vegeta that never lived on Earth (or if he did it would be much later), maybe no Trunks if Bulma and Yamcha use the extra time together to fix their problems, and then there'd be no warning about the Androids... Holy crap that would be an insane timeline.
Man, this happened for the first time around the cell games for me, at the time all the mechanics were beginning to click and I was /locked tf in/. Cell didn't stand a chance, and I went on a merry adventure. I knew about the choices, but I didn't realize you could just do real good and unlock a new timeline.
If bothers me that sayains tails don't change color and also that Goku is fine with letting Vegeta live after perma-killing Krillin but this storyline is so fucking sick

To be fair even if great ape vegta did spam his beam it's easier to dodge then people think via side stepping

Originally, Goku and Vegeta were supposed to be the only Super Saiyans. I loved this What If because it fleshed out their rivalry and the original concept.
This was the most elite timeline change except for the Gohan one and Vegeta one they are pretty SICK

BTW doto, you can go into the options and change the clash controls to standard while keeping the classic control scheme, this way you can mash square/X during clashes instead of destroying your controller sticks.

SSJ Namek Vegeta would reach a power level of 900,000, making it so he could easily blindside and wipe out First Form Frieza.
But if you take into account his Zenkai boost after the Saiyan Saga, and say that he took an equivalent beating in this what-if (at least physically), then he would have his base power level of 24,000. Which raises to 1,200,000 with SSJ. Meaning you can imagine a theoretical scenario where Frieza managed to turn into his Second Form against this SSJ Vegeta and still loses.
This in turn makes Goku's base power in this what-if at least 24,000 as well, matching Vegeta's power level but having a better handle on SSJ by the time they fight. Since they spent their entire Senzu reserves in the Saiyan Saga fight, Goku wouldn't be able to train as intensely in the CC spaceship, so a base power level between 24,000 and 30,000 is most reasonable.
The Saiyan Saga scaling is a bit more up in the air. Goku losing to Nappa puts him clearly below 4,000, but since Piccolo was already 3,500 in the main series (and still fumbled a 5v1) I'd assume Goku would be between the 3,500 - 4,000 range, leaning more towards 3,500. Since him and Piccolo _were_ pretty much equals before King Kai's training, just rounding them both to 3,500 makes sense for this what-if.
With Goku's Zenkai after losing to Nappa, him being able to clear Nappa easily but still losing to Vegeta puts him maybe around 10,000. Again, very much up in the air, but between 4,000 and 18,000 is a huge range to leave there. Regardless, a minimum 4,000 power level Goku still bullies Oozaru Vegeta fter SSJ (200,000 vs 180,000, not even factoring Vegeta losing a lot of power making the fake moon).
The other Z-Fighters more than likely have the exact same power as their mainline counterparts, but you _can_ say they get a bit stronger due to having Piccolo and Goku around to train with. Vegeta and Nappa would keep their canon power levels of 18,000 and 4,000 respectively, since they aren't affected as much by the timeline shift.
I missed that Goku actually does pressure Vegeta a bit after his Zenkai in this what-if and forces Great Ape in base, so his power would actually have to be around 18,000 as well. So no huge ranges.
That means SSJ Goku was sitting at at least a cool 900,000 beating up on a 18,000 power level Vegeta.

I wonder if these what ifs are hinting towards this moment of all things being what truly changes Piccolo. Not training with Gohan or sacrificing himself for him. But giving away key information that brought an existential threat to the planet he wanted to rule.
Its like Piccolo is too smart to allow this stupid villainous statement to allow him to do it again. So he's a good guy now hahaha

Here's another Character's Waht-if Scenario's:
*Vegeta
- To unlock Vegeta's Sparking Episode, you'll need to make it to Chapter 2, which focuses on the Cell Saga. In the battle
against Android 18 during the mission Wind-Up Doll, you'll need to defeat Android 18 in the unspecified time limit instead of
just surviving the battle against her. Doing this will unlock the Parental Bond Sparking Episode, which focuses on Vegeta and
Trunks. Next, you need to defeat Super Trunks as fast as possible in the "Vegeta And Trunks" mission instead of just surviving
against him. This opens up the rest of the Sparking Episode and lets you see it through to the end.
- The second of Vegeta's Sparking Episodes can be found in Chapter 3 of his story mode. During the mission "Vegeta's Wicked Heart", Babidi will try and take over Vegeta's mind. This cutscene will present you with a choice of either submitting to the brainwashing or shaking it off. Choose to shake it off and you'll unlock the "Number One Spot" Sparking Episode.
**If bugged, replay the mission before it where Vegeta trains with Kid Trunks and it should pop-up the next time you try it.**
Imagine what Doto will say when he finds out R3 puts you in POV in some cutscenes
