- Please read before watching! This is a patch 9.1 Rogue/Hunter arena video. It contains highlight clips of 2s games I recorded last month. This was made solely for entertainment!
WHAT TO EXPECT
* 2v2 games at 1700-1800 rating
* Sub Rogue / MM Hunt comp
* Fast paced gameplay
* Opponents of different skill levels
With my main 2s partner being out of the picture for a while, I promised my girlfriend I would climb some arena with her. This is the first season she set foot in WoW arena. At first she was overwhelmed by everything going on, but over the course of multiple sessions she improved a lot. She was motivated to get better every day, as she really desired the elite set.

Thank you for the video, is your step kidney macro something you need to hit multiple times?
Always a pleasure, I hope you liked it. I have a separate macro for step focus and kidney focus target; I mash 2 buttons separately. I do think that some players have step kick, step kidney... on one macro, but it's all about preferation. I've been playing with these macros for years so I'm just used to pressing multiple buttons :)
New subscriber here!, Is Kyrian a great Covenant again for Rogues? I am also using undead Rogue. If its Kyrian, the RC lego will be the go to lego to pair Echoing Reprimand?
Thanks for subbing! For PvP, Kyrian is for sure S tier right now. Throughout the entire video, I used the Kyrian legendary. If you learn to play around the animacharged combo points, your burst will be INSANE. I looked up some of the highest rated rogues in the game, and most of them are either Kyrian or Venthyr for Subtlety. Also great too see a fellow UD Rogue :)

I was kyrian from the first season with the Crit Legendary then after Echoing nerfed, I switched to Venthyr, now that I've watched your video and some of your previous videos, I am going back to kyrian and invest to get the lego for kyrian. I hope you make a video on your rotation sa kyrian Rogue, specially, how to use the anima charge effectively to score a massive damage. Thanks and looking forward 🙂 and yeah Undead Rogue for life 👊

Hey dude, awesome video. I can't decide between Assassination and Sub.. I love the tools that sub has, smoke bomb... shadowy duel.. in-combat saps. But I feel like the spec is so incredibly dependant on communication of allies, and outside of RBGs I just kinda solo it. Would you say Sub is as good as Sin in BGs and casual play, without comms? Or should I stick to Sin
Glad you liked the video. First of all I have good news: both specs are viable at high level play right now. They just fulfill different roles. Subtlety is more about control and burst, where Assassination is more about sustained damage, unhealable damage. Think what playstyle you enjoy most: enjoying a spec is the first step to getting better and gaining rating imo. However, if you're talking about RBGs, Subtlety will find a spot much easier. Because of the spec's playmaking, you're the king of ninjaing bases, defending, returning flags... it's really one of the few specs that can heavily influence a 10v10 game. This doesn't take away that Assas is also viable, but it is more teamfight oriented. If you're more interested in Random BGs, then there's no reason to worry. Both specs can pull their weight and solo win games. For arena, Subtlety is played in setup comps (double dps 2s, RMP 3v3...) and assas in more straightforward comps (healer dps 2s, Spriest Rogue Healer 3s...). Take what you will from this, but remember: both specs are deffo viable right now. I suggest you play what ever you enjoy most. Sorry for the long text!

I gladly respond when you have a question :) people have actually approached me on this subject before. It seems odd that I don't play with target of target / hp numbers etc. But it's simply what I'm used to, there's no specific reason except for it being my comfort hehe
any cast sequence macros for opener and one shot?
Not using any macros for damage dealing/openers, using every button separately. Sorry, wish I could help you :(
