This is a pretty good video Covers some topics like setup and instaillation, config and server migration. There's a lot more to it but it covers most things.
Bro thanks for amazing content May I ask couple of questions? Q1: As you have setup 2800 MB as startup memory and also clicked on use Dynamic memory. If VM is utilizing only 800 MB dynamic feature will free up the remaining 2000 MB. Incase if VM requires more than 2800 MB memory will this dynamic feature going to borrow additional memory considering that we haven't turned on NUMA Spanning Q2: How many VMs can use one external virtual switch?
I have a question I am configuring a Hyper-V on a 2022 Server. It has two physical processors, and when I go to hardware settings and select processors it has about 64 cores, so is that the number of processors that i am selecting from on the settings for processors, should I then enter about 20 under the processor setting, indicating 20 of the 64 cores? By the way thank you for the video very good!
@@TechiJack I have Nvidia K2000, but i don't know how to do it,, couldn't find a video for it; i mean, no by adding a pass through to the VM, but to use that process power. Do you know how?
Simple and good . But i required how to create the replication servers for the VM and how to bypass the, during fail over time and how to access it by normal users remotely. Can you please make a video on it
If you have a two host machine, you can create other server as a replication server, install failover cluster role on both host to pass vm on other host during fail over. For best practice, you actually need three server, third server can b used as common storage.
Hi, In my lab after some time vm state is automatically off , then every time i have to start state manually. So could u assit me how i can make the vm state always in running/on ?
@@elixier33 Whats the difference between the two? I am getting started in VM and I just started using vmware but we have some servers at work that we want to virtualize. We ere thinking it would be better to use hyper V.
Techi Jack Hi, can I use the OS (windows 10Pro) on my host computer for hyper V VM installation or have to use a different OS to do it. Let say is I have OS on USB or diskette can I use it. Thanks
Thanks brother, Well explained in short time.

Very nice video, is there a way to use the GPU to help the processor into the virtualization performance?
You have to install GPU on the server to get that experience.

Confusing, you should start with a bare windows server... no roles installed.

Can you explain about Virtual SAN in Hyper-V please?
Will keep in mind
Why would you be using an i7 for a server?
Its just for understanding, you can use different cpu according to your size of organization.
How to access this from another system
you can install hyper v role to access it from other computer.
Sir I don't have hyper v on my window 10
Which version of windows you are using and is it a 64 bit.
Pretty sure you got win10 home installed then 😅
