Overstocked Lake Malawi tank with peacocks and haps. Caught my eye so good that I’ve been fish keeping for 6+ plus years and have been keeping African cichlids since 😅
I quit fish keeping when I was 10-12 years old because I couldn’t stomach it when a goldfish would pass away. I’m now 24 and have been keeping 4 aquariums in my bedroom the past couple years and a lot of what got me back into it was memories with my father and I love watching aquarium plants grow. Each tank is like its own little world and I love that
And you guys are so cute together. As far as both just pick on each other without really hurting each other; you will stay together as Best Friends and Lovers!! That the magic never extinguishes!!! Love u guys!🤩👍👍
I saw a tank with peacock cichlids at a restaurant one night when I went out to eat with friends and couldn’t take my eyes off of it. Then 4 years later my entire living room became an aquarium heaven, from discus to mbuna to shell dwellers. I love my cichlids even to this day and find them to be great for metal health and relaxing.
Use leaves with that sand for the electric eel. That's the closest that you can get without making it muddy for the electric eel. Remember they loved muddy, heavily planted, muddy water. I will say moss and some floating plants. Tamara has them in her tanks because they are an awesome way to feed goldfishes!! With those plants and a floor full of Almond Leaves mixed with some thin sand it will be perfect! And still both of you are not as tall as I'm!!! I'm 9,4.... Did I told you I'm dyslexic?🤔😜😁🤣
When I was 9 I saw a huge lagoon scaped tank at the public aquaruim, never knew the fish names but the scape got me in awe ... and that's how I started in the hobby.
6:22 Already just commented on Joeys Channel and he liked 😂 I follow Joeys Channel for 10yrs now.. got inspired into the hobby watching the Peacock Cichlids tank and setup my first aquarium 🤩
you two literally are Joemara ngl it kind of feels like I am your 3rd kid at the point and I love it I even got a hell lot of motivation to get back into the hobby rn, and I will post stuff on IG and tag you because I have CRAZY ideas inspired by a lot of youtubers, but without you Tamara, I wouldnt bother anymore. I was in the hobby for almost 20 years and got fed up putting all my aquarium stuff on ebay at some point lol with that being said, I wish all four of you a merry christmas and I hope to see you succeed a lot in the hobby next year cheers
Tamara and Joey! I know you guys have known about the old addage " Opposites attract!" As Dr. James Dobson once commented, " You better have similarities, if you want the relationship to be successful!" I look at this as a positive thing! You two have found the synergy to last you forever! Happy New Year!
I have been in the hobby for about 15 years now. I have not yet had the opportunity to have my dream tank but I will someday. Having said that there are a few things tanks that have inspired me over the years. But one of my absolute favourites was when Joey had the 375 stocked with rainbows.
Ive got a Tang set up... with Comps and Julidochromis. Pulled a bunch of flat sand stone from the local cricks and built a neat little rock habitat for them to navigate.
I wish you could’ve kept all of the tropheus , a bigger colony just looks better… but I understand why you couldn’t … looking forward to the progress of the duplex fish room
Hello. I'm 45. Got back into fish, keeping in lockdown, covid. South Africa, Cape Town. Love the channel. After my brother's passing, I tried to connect with my nephew as I kept fish with his father when I was 10, years old. Sevrums for the win... ✌️ 💪 🏆 ✌️
They are more active in cooler water condition. You gotta think where they come from. They got a lot of rain a certain time of year and all the time they’re in small lagoons and it’s warmer. But the lagoons open up when the rain comes so then they’re out moving around because the water is cooler that’s my hypothesis just think about it.
Checked out the book "you and your aquarium" from my local library fifteen years ago, fell in love with the idea of a goldfish tank and the rest is history ❤🐟
Joey, you inspired me to BUILD a 2x4x2' 120 gallon cell-cast clear acrylic COFFEE table aquarium for our twin grand babies, and then we had another grand baby, AND THEN ANOTHER SET OF TWIN GRAND BABIES!!! 5 under the age of 5! We stocked a dozen discus and two dozen cardinal tetras. L O N G story, but we now have 3 big ole Oscars.
Anxiety i grew up very ruff ...and i got a fish tank when i was young iam now 40 and something about watching fish that relaxes me takes away all the anxiety ....nothing like shutting the lights out except the tank light and just watching them dk there thing......its my natures xanax lol
The tank that first got me into aquariums was one of Joey's old tanks he had in the basement wall with the red Arowana that tank was so simple but so perfect
Option 2 happy medium, the rule in my house is "Happy wife Happy life" 😂 and THE tank that made me want fish was my friends dad's. He had a massive indoor corner tank with full grown Jaguar cichlids and oscars. I was in love at 1st sight ❤
A long time ago you built a plywood tank and added a school of Oscars. I had a. 40 gallon and a couple tens at that time. However see those Oscars together made me want a larger tank. Years later I have three 55s & 75s, one 100, two 120s and twenty 55 gallon and under. Thanks for inspiring me!
i got into fishkeeping from my uncle joe he would keep goldfish in a pond in the spring to fall then in winter he kept them inside every year i would help him move them inside and outside for about 8 years when i was about 8 yeats old now im 29 almost 30 and have 16 tanks and started like 10 years old and he also got me into fishing and hunting he also had red belly piranhas that his daughters told me now for like 12 years hes gone blind in both eyes and i wish he could see my fish but i described them to him and showed videos to his daughters and they desvribe to him and he gets all happy and smiling when we tell him hes the resason why i keep my fish and how i also do it yourself things since i was 3. 4 years old he would have me help him with random projects and and such
My first Goldfish tank, won at the local fair....40yrs ago. Now have 20000ltr koi pond, 300ltr Malawi tank, 300ltr Rainbow tank, 30ltr guppy tank and 30ltr neon and cardinal tank
I am 48 years old there two tanks that made me always want to keep fish when I 5 my dad was raised and kept Altim angel fish and grand mother always kept planted tanks granted they where fake plants but when your 4 or 5 you don't know the difference thank you for your time. Plus Joey's side should be called the kings cave...
First 75 gallon came to have Angelfish. Now have 3 75’s, 2 40’s, a 125, and a 180 thanks to the influence of Joey and others. Would have loved to see all the Tanganyikans in the 375. Please follow up with a feeding video as I thought Frontosas are predators and tropheus graze on algae. I would love to combine my tropheus with my Brichardi and Tretocephalus, but thought I could not due to different dietary needs.
I saw a pair of tank with one South and Central American cichlids and the other with African cichlids. That’s what want and now I have to have saltwater tanks too. There will be two of them as well. So I will have a fish room with two freshwater tanks and two saltwater tanks.
How will you feed this tank to keep tropheus for getting to much protein. I would love to do this too but I know tropheus have problem with too much protein but will eat it all day. Thanks
I've said it befor on Joey's channel but you should end videos with a recording of a tank don't change views just get it in frame like 3 to 5 minutes the best thing about fishtanks is being able to watch them and it feels like we're really missing out on that part
I got into the hobby because Oscar’s and had dumbo and jumbo for 14 years now I have a green spotted puffer and red eye puffer I adore puffers my green spotted puffer plays with ping pong balls
Why is this video? You’re trying to hide those fish when the video came out before this you already told us what all those fish were and showed us all those fish?
It was filmed before those videos came out, and at the time we were unsure in the order of which the videos would be coming out on our two separate channels.

Saw a 375 fully scape and planted. The fish were a mixture of male and female Bettas. No aggression, just peaceful and tranquil
you two literally are Joemara

Got into the hobby loving a 800 gal African tank at my LFS
Cyphotilapia frontosa made me fall in love with the hobby. I had Cyphotilapia frontosa for 7 years. and now I have had a marine aquarium for 4 years.

10:37 is why JOEYs nickname is BIG DADDY! 😂😉🍻
I lived in Chicago, so I went to Old Town Aquarium and saw Marine Fish and that's all it took, that was back in the 80's.
They are more active in cooler water condition. You gotta think where they come from. They got a lot of rain a certain time of year and all the time they’re in small lagoons and it’s warmer. Hope your channel has the same success as Joey's. Much enjoyed the two of you together!
Checked out the book "you and your aquarium" from my local library fifteen years ago, fell in love with the idea of a goldfish tank and the rest is history ❤🐟
I started with violet goby or dragonfish, back when Wal-Mart used to sell fish❤
Joey, you inspired me to BUILD a 2x4x2' 120 gallon cell-cast clear acrylic COFFEE table aquarium for our twin grand babies, and then we had another grand baby, AND THEN ANOTHER SET OF TWIN GRAND BABIES!!! 5 under the age of 5! The end was the best🎉😂😂😂😂
I Loved that ending!!!! 🤣
There isn’t really one specific tank I saw which I can remember but I was always amazed by pearling rotala in those big bunches
Anxiety i grew up very ruff ...and i got a fish tank when i was young iam now 40 and something about watching fish that relaxes me takes away all the anxiety ....nothing like shutting the lights out except the tank light and just watching them dk there thing......its my natures xanax lol
This tank needs lelupei!! They would love the rocks crevices and add some color
The tank that first got me into aquariums was one of Joey's old tanks he had in the basement wall with the red Arowana that tank was so simple but so perfect

The sign should be your Only Fins logo!
You got to add some shell dwellers in with them too in the 375
One tank that I wanted was my big brothers. It was a 90 gl. with 3 big (about 10 in. Fin span) angel fish. It was awsome.
finally ...mad science with the eel .. 🧑🔬
i got into fishkeeping from my uncle joe he would keep goldfish in a pond in the spring to fall then in winter he kept them inside every year i would help him move them inside and outside for about 8 years when i was about 8 yeats old now im 29 almost 30 and have 16 tanks and started like 10 years old and he also got me into fishing and hunting he also had red belly piranhas that his daughters told me now for like 12 years hes gone blind in both eyes and i wish he could see my fish but i described them to him and showed videos to his daughters and they desvribe to him and he gets all happy and smiling when we tell him hes the resason why i keep my fish and how i also do it yourself things since i was 3. 4 years old he would have me help him with random projects and and such
Sign idea "Time to buy new fish" when the eel lights up the sign then you need to buy something new 😂
Great to see Jomara xD
T and JOEY GREAT VIDEO
My first Goldfish tank, won at the local fair....40yrs ago. Now have 20000ltr koi pond, 300ltr Malawi tank, 300ltr Rainbow tank, 30ltr guppy tank and 30ltr neon and cardinal tank

Always be nice to Tam, she is a sweetheart. Why do the fish seem so much bigger when you take them out of the tank?
First 75 gallon came to have Angelfish. Now have 3 75’s, 2 40’s, a 125, and a 180 thanks to the influence of Joey and others. Would have loved to see all the Tanganyikans in the 375. 1 I think is the best idea 💡
You should call the other side Kings Cove
70g cube tank idea pygmy Corycats go great with shrimp and it's a big enough tank for bamboo shrimp but they like a lot of flow 😊
How is it going with fish ❤️ also How do you manage to feed frontosa without tropheus getting there food since there vegetarian flakes
The king's corner
Can you do a heavy planted long tank with red minors tetras. Good schooling fish.
Kings paradise
How will you feed this tank to keep tropheus for getting to much protein. I would love to do this too but I know tropheus have problem with too much protein but will eat it all day. Thanks
I wish you would release your videos in order
Ah yes the congos that're going in the 2000. Gonna look cool 6:34
Yuuup that's a amazing idea... Shot shot shot lol
Put the frontosa in the 2000 gallon
Make the sign a light bulb so when it lights up you can stand under it during a video and say I have an idea!
Or a fish yin yang neon sign!
electric eel sign should say feed me. see if you can teach it to ask for food 👀 is that a silly idea? i would love to try it
My idea for Joey's side is "King's Kavern" spelled with a K on purpose for something different.
I’m thinking JOEY’S EDGE
of the queen cove
I think that Joey’s new sign should say “Finomenal Kingdom”
It should say. Gotcha
The perfect answer is yes..😂❤
I've said it befor on Joey's channel but you should end videos with a recording of a tank don't change views just get it in frame like 3 to 5 minutes the best thing about fishtanks is being able to watch them and it feels like we're really missing out on that part
