AND his caring heart AND his authority .when he says jump we jump knowing it's for the best and he's keeping us safe. so if something gets john's attention that we need to do something about we rely on him to say jump and we jump.just on this and i know it's a bit off topic ,and i NEVER thought i'd ever say this ,so it's a great pleasure to be able to say this . i think our PM have been getting a real workout through all this drama ,and their list of advisers , so i officially say well done all. i appreciate your efforts and skill. you've been earning your money and our respect and admiration .it must be a bloody hard job keeping the ship off the rocks.and i know you stuff up sometimes ,despite your best efforts ,we all do . we have something really special in the aussi character that i hope we become more aware of and cherish . and even give it away to the rest of the world ,or at least share it around a bit .i'm unemployed at the moment and that extra $250 /week has put a smile on my landlords face. just on respect for leadership ,i saw a vid the other day with keith payne vc and the governor general peter cosgrove and keith asked the governor general where he could sit and the governor general said "keith you can sit anywhere you like ". loved that .smart man

One of the best singer on this planet. He may be old but he still deliver such incredible vocal performance at the age of 70. Not many has that vocal range eventhough they are way yonger than him. World class singer.

Lived in Melbourne as a kid for nine years and watching all these videos with John just takes me down memory lane, carefree moments... Such a loveable guy and what a bloody singer! Insane! Jon Bon Jovi, take notes, this is how you treat your voice. This guy is a LEGEND. My daughter, a talented vocalist has attempted ' You're the voice' and said it's incredibly difficult to sing, it takes two separate vocal types to sing correctly. Jon Farnham....We salute you!

Might just be physiology as well. Ppl are allowed to age, not everyone's the same.
Bon Jovi has some hearing condition as well. His 2022 tour was unlistenable. He was flat all through the tour. It's not only his voice is shot, he can't find his place. Hopefully it's not something neurological but the slurring and loose timing may be signs of it, plus he's been pushing for at least 10 good years. On the other hand... Farnham might easily be one of the best singers EVER. His high notes at 70 are clean, no gimmicks, true heartfelt singing and amazing technique. Unbeatable !
No excuses john lost some his hearing in his 60s never changed his voice or his singing

Amazing voice. Saw him pushing a stroller thru Disneyland in the 80s, no one knew who he was! I decided not to bother him on his downtime, but what a sighting.
I am across the pond, here in the USA. It started with Little River Band and I have gone deep down the John Farnham rabbit hole today. I am throughly impressed by his voice and to still be able to sing like that in his seventies is amazing.
What a friggin legend of a bloke. An Aussie icon.

Here in NZ, at least I found a radio station that they played John Farnham's songs. Love it! Great singer and performer, at age 70 still has incredible voice! ❤❤❤❤❤
Congratulations John. Still able to belt out the tunes at 70 with that powerful voice. The concert was a great event put on many folk helping out other aussies who are struggling due to the drought so a big thanks to all those performers, crew and management who put the concert together. To those wanting to sook about john's voice not being 100% the man could have said no to this concert but he said yes and all kudos to the man and he could have sat back and done nothing!!!

He's still got it... other singers from the 70's & 80's drop tuning the guitars so it sounds like they can still sing the songs the same but John still hits the octaves and even has to drop the mic a foot down..... ...

I love it that John incites the crowd to sing AC/DC. Bon Scott would be chuckling and totally enjoying this if he had stuck around. A nice nod to another legendary and much loved Aussie Rocker .
John’s constant “comeback touring” ( never actually ever retired or went away), has kept his voice in good condition. Vocal chords are muscles. Like all muscles; use them or losr them. He’s always had great breath control & timing which helps what he does seem almost effortless. Amazing vocalist!
This Man is AMAZING. His vocals continue to be amazing - he is just amazing LIVE. So glad I got to see him live in concert in 2014.

Unbelievable! Not many are able to keep their voice in shape up to that age. He is singing it every bit as powerful as back in the eighties. That takes a very healthy technique and good practice.
The man is amazing powering on vocally as he does at 70.

What a fantastic performer that has aged well and his voice is even stronger and John Farnham is a true Aussy Farmer that has seen the devastation that this drought basically Australia to its knees and his voice for Hay Mate encourages mums, dads and children to make a difference to those farmers that are facing a really big problem with no rain coming soon and if you have a small or large amount of money then buy a Bail of Hay.
Good on you John Farnham you are truly an Aussy with a big heart to give your time to help many others in need.
