Today's Pick: Enslaved: "Yggdrasil" 1992 Demo (Progressive Black Metal)

Kicking off a brand new show, here I am recommending an underground classic which I have recently revisited, from Norwegian Black, Viking and Prog Metal kings, Enslaved! Yggdrasil, the legendary demo from 1992, is a defining and influential release which was a precursor to the future progressive style that Enslaved have grown into progressively over successive releases, while also remaining firmly rooted in second wave Black Metal.

Enslaved are fucking amazing George. Great idea for a series. I do the same with my "Light In The Dark" series.
Absolute killer demo, Norsk classic. I have the version with Satyriconbon ito, but I think it's basically the same! Great video as usual, mate!

Nice! Haven't come across that version myself, but does sound solid! It is a classic for sure, I absolutely love this demo!
