    If not having the switch you can also use two small relays by taking advantage of both NO and NC terminals, and using the common pins as the output voltage to the motor. This would make it so ON power to the relay coils would spin the motor one direction and relay coils OFF would spin it the other.

      @@anttihoivala6740 I don't quite have a tutorial but I utilize that technique on a relay board I used for a PLC Trainer kind of thing. "Basic S7-200 PLC Trainer w/PWM and Analog"
      At about 4:50 you can see the wiring. There are the two relays which are switched on or off at the exact same time. The output of each relay going to the motor is the 'common' terminals. The NC terminal of one relay is then tied to the NO terminal of the other and vice versa. Then you can insert the DC+ to say the NO contact of one relay, and the DC- to the NC contact of the same relay. This will have the polarity at the output on the common terminals in one direction, then when switching the relays ON it will flip.

    Good video, I would like to make this with a on off switch.
    Of is always down (has a limit switch so it will stop)
    And on will be up (also limit switch)
    Does someone has any tips how I can make this work?
    I have a push and pull switch (on/off)
    I probaly don't have to use the rest position right?

    is there a dc motor that spins way slower than that? like if you want to make a diy rotating display? like say one that can spin something slow that weighs like 50-100 lbs for example? like if i want to put something that heavy on the rotating display stand? like for example a dog that you want to show off for dog competitions and make him just sit on top of it while it slowly spins to show off his build etc? lmk and thank you for your time!

    Brill! I’ve bought a few of the same motors and although they were cheap their RPM is still too high for what I need. I know how to electronically reduce the speed but didn’t realise I could have bought a ‘geared’ motor instead.....I’ll go and research now but wondered if you had bought this particular one because geared versions are much more expensive?
