    Thanks a lot dude, however, these controllers are NOT NEW! I've been using them for a year now, and they really are much better than the old face rig circuit.

      I did my last character rig on this with Gakaxy Chan back in November 2022, that's the first rig setup in 3.5 beta, since I've been testing it (even with the RT compositor).

    Is this from the official release version of 3.5 or the Alpha version?

    Why there is no picker addon for selection of control rig in Rigify other than AnimBox?

    I don't think this facial rig upgrade is new, it's been in Blender releases for a few updates now, probably 3.2 or 3.3.

    Question, what if the finger Roll attribute will not let you select an new finger to roll? If I set a roll on the index finger and apply it to all the index fingers. I cannot set a roll on the middle finger. Even if I go to the pose mode, select a middle finger then go to Edit mode. If I shut down Blender and open the scene, the roll is still connected to the index finger.

      Figured it out, move a joint sphere on another finger, then choose the middle finger to roll.

    • @espada9000

      @@activemotionpictures No but with the gameplay being so accurate to the game and Anime counterpart, it doesn't really matter that this 2B is not Anime styled on Soul Calibur 6.

    hii there,, i want to ask something, i have bought the course,,, but the part for Unity 3d import,, was really short, and i could not see the shadow cel shading effect on the face, like in the game Guilty Gear,, the course is great btw

      Hi. I can personally help you with that. Please send me a message from my website. The game engine porting of shaders has been highly requested and I am still recording the videos for the next Section. Kind regards.

    It would be nice if there was a script that mimicked Mixamo or Auto rig so we wouldn't have to manually position every damn bone.

  • @EvanAxel
    @EvanAxel Год назад

    For some reason, when i assign extra bones to the rig, it doesn't generate controls for said bones, nor does it show up in the UI menu.

    • @activemotionpictures
      @activemotionpictures  Год назад +1

      The extra bones you created, move them to bone layer 1 in pose mode. Search where they were sent (usually bone layer 4) and press M, select box #1. Also, for them to be shown in the menu, please reference my other videos on the subject.

    • @EvanAxel
      @EvanAxel Год назад

      @@activemotionpictures Thanks for the reply! I tried moving my new created bones into layer 1 and regenerated the rig. However, the bones, and controls for said bones still don't appear. Im not entirely sure why this is happening. Is there a way to fix this?

    • @activemotionpictures
      @activemotionpictures  Год назад

      When you are in edit mode for the bones, switch to POSE mode, and in the bone icon tab of the properties, choose the rigify type of BONE you'll use (select octahedron, I think... It's the first of the drop down list of bone type). Also, select "raw copy" as the rigify TYPE.

    Yo, while content is good, your voice recording is kinda bad.
    Use noise supression in Audacity or Adobe Podcast to improve it. Both are free, latter is automatic. You'll sound MUCH more professional.
    Best of luck!

    • @activemotionpictures

      I've been looking for a phantom mic. Also, I (unknowingly) applied a "sound enhancement" filter and it sounded well on my end, but ended up wrecking the entire video. Might upload a new voiceover with no filter later in the day. Cheers.

      There's an entire 2 hour timelapse that no one would watch, sadly. If I upload a long video, and no one watches it, it downgrades my channel positioning. But I'm sharing most of my processes on my secondary accounts:

    are there any full tutorials about how to create this anime style with the shaders and everything from scratch? because Im new to 3d art and i have seen all your vids and they are all more into the theory side than the practical side .. i mean is there a walkthrough tutorial? if you are gonna create a new character any time soon can you please record the whole process? it's ok as a timelapse vid you don't need to edit it or struggle with it anyhow
