Most of the body of the lion other than black lion is made of plastic. Red lion and green lion are made by die-cast only joints. Blue lion and yellow lion are made by die-casting legs including joints. Black lion is made with mixed die casting and plastic.
Hmm they got the Red Lion wrong... [Like ALL the other toys of Voltron/Golion] it should be rotated by 90 degrees. And while it may be acceptable on low end toys it's quite less at this level...
I remember when i was a kid this is the only toy my parents bought for us. And this was so special because we where 5 siblings with one sister wc we treat as a princess.

My dad got me a die cast Voltron set in the 80s. I remember how cool it was. I wish I still had it. These look amazing.

いくらか割り切っている部分もありますけど、
そういう意味でも、このゴライオンは

初期設定画では、ちゃんと鬣があったんですね。（べラリオスはありましたが）
見やすい動画のおかげで、購買意欲をそそられてしまいました。
個人的には、黒獅子の脚の付け根が劇中通りのシルバーでよかったです。
昔の超合金は黒だったので、短足に見えてしまっていたのが唯一気になっておりました。

たてがみをなくした理由が、べラリオスとの差別化だったとは思いませんでした。
チーフは、「宇宙ライオンなので、オスでもたてがみはないんだ」と言っていました。
