Dragon has committed crimes of injustice though being a pretty broken card. Yes there are worse but that doesn't Dragoon innocent it has committed it's share of sinful acts) Only ones that defend it are DM and Red Eyes players. Lol

I remembered that he reminded us that Master Duel more closely follows the OCG and it's banned there 😭.
He did commit crimes. A lot of them. With Verte legal there’s really no good reason to unban him. His only impact will be giving combo decks an extra generic negate.
Of course it's that card. They gave it an animation so why not unban it and see what happens.
Heavy Storm was banned because of it's synergy with floodgates. Set them, skip your opponents turn, then Heavy Storm to remove them and go for game. Since many floodgates are being limited/banned, Konami now feels ok with releasing it.
It's the same reason why Giant Trunade is banned, but that card also has synergy with equip cards like Snatch Steal and Premature Burial.
Makes sense. I didn’t even think of that. I thought it was to prevent players from triggering their own cards removal effects and to limit ways to remove all spell/trap zones.
@@FrostReave That probably contributed, but it seems new cards specify that they have to be destroyed by your opponent, and archtypes like Unchained don't really need the extra help.
It's more because S/T do stuff in the GY so it's less impactful than it used to be. It's not as much of a blow out anymore.

Dragoon would be a great Dark Magician buff. With the Gold sarcophagus cards it'll be a very consistent (fun deck)

It is almost inevitable the release of Dragoon. Master Duel tends to make some anime packs from time to time and that pack from which Magia will be seems like its an anime one.
I don’t see Dragoon getting unbanned unless Verte Anaconda is banned

@@ericbreese3071 Verte is barely being used in the tourneys so konami doesn't really have an incentive to ban the card, personally i would rather verte get bannned to free dragoon. I just don't see it happening rn.
@@anboo5117 dragoon is not even close to being playable even with verte, it is 3 bricks you need to play, that is just not worth it for most meta decks anymore

Yes, I have most of Dogmatika, and the Blue-Eyes Structure decks give you the rest for cheap.
Once Verte gets banned, we should get Dragoon to 1 at least. It mostly was cheesed with Verte and RE Fusion as an overly generic extender and circumvented the Fusion card's usual restriction to just that summon (but not any Sets).

YESSS this is what i've been waiting for, finally Black Luster Soldier will have some playability and Dark Magician/Blue Eyes will have an interesting 1st turn plan.
Obviously i'm not talking competitive wise, i couldn't care less about competitive.
My only regret is that Magia doesn't have "ignoring his summoning conditions" so it can summon a ritual only if it was already properly summoned (which is terrible for BLS ad Blue Eyes).
Btw for anyone interested in BLS like me, the best way to play Magia in BLS is probably with something like Predaplant package (gets 1 "Fusion" spell+Isolde or Verte, all 3 if you also have a Bystial)+Goblindemberg (for Invoker+Isolde route with Predaplant package or Isolde/Dugares/Verte with another mini-BLS)+Bystials (free bodies, banish mini-BLS to get ritual, can make Beatrice)+Ultimate fusion+Poly and King of swamp+Fusion armament+some other 1 ofs to fill the deck
It these kinds of replays that make me shake my head. Like this does nothing to boost your ancient deck’s playability. Know what it does do? Give combo and really good decks an extra free negate. Genius.

Yeah, I REALLY don't know how the TCG puts up with playable cards only being available in their "max" rarities, you're ruining their value every time you play a game with them.
Bought a Blue Eyes deck for 500 crystals from the shop. I'ts just a waste, you cant play the deck without 4-6 of the discard one to draw 2, cards. The removal protection of Magia is great, but the deck probably remains outside of rogue.
That deck doesn't have Bingo Machine or Spirit Dragon, so it's not complete out of the box unfortunately. You usually want to buy all 3 copies of the deck as well, so you have 3 copies of the good cards
you always have to buy 3 copies of the structure decks, of course it's shit with everything at 1. I mean it isn't amazing either way, but you can win some games with it.
@@FakeHeroFang Don't have spirit Dragon but the rest of the engine i have them in proper quantity from what i see. Also i have just 1 Bingo Machine. In solo mode i can do at least 2 (rarely 3) Level 10 Synchros which is great but it takes an awesome hand. Seriously however the deck looks too weak without all the discard cards, which is a bummer since my introduction to modern digital yu-gi-oh was when blue eyes was the deck to beat.
That means there will be a rise of DM players for a few days and many easy wins also.
Lol probably, they'll waste so many resources to summon that card only to be outed by a dark ruler no more, Kaiju, kurikara, etc.
I think they all learned their lesson: no fun allowed in the snake-eyes format.

When DKayed talk about a card being unbanned, I legit thought it was Summon Sorceress.
If only master duel create some kind of event that lift all the banned cards or just some of them.
And let the players play through that event to test the impact of those banned cards against current meta and see how it turns out.

lol, I play vintage magic, many of the cards I play are $500 plus, but its a card game at the end of the day and playing the cards is the fun part.
