    🤨🤨Why not plant forests and build soil... let nature do the carbon sequestering!! As Vandana Shiva says "humans do not regenerate the Earth. We are here to serve the Earth as she regenerates

    So where does the sodium carbonate come from? Isn't most sodium carbonate produced by heating sodium bicarbonate until it gives off CO2? If that's the case, then this process can only recover the amount of CO2 used in producing the sodium carbonate in the first place.

      But they add the C02 enriched water to the sodium carbonate to create the sodium bicarbonate. As long as the output of CO2 exceeds the original reaction of the sodium carbonate, isn't that worth the process right? A pure stream of CO2 could be a commercial demand as well.

    Apply this tech as soon as possible to support Australian forest burning disasters and have the ability to recover quickly...reduces difficulty breathing...

      Ash from bushfires would clog up any sort of direct air capture equipment. They’d need to switch any such equipment off for two months if we had a repeat of the 2019-20 fire season.

      CO2 isn’t an energy source. But it can be used to promote the growth of food in greenhouses. And it can be used in fizzy drinks whereas they currently burn hydrocarbons to generate the CO2 they use.

    Is there any notion of making he resin composition and manufacture process open source so persons can make it and develop new technologies to share to the public or is the information secured in house at ASU?
