      Visit Chin state! It’s the tribal part of the country! When people visit Myanmar, they only visit the capital state or cities. But rarely even recognize such thing as Chin State existed ( the tribal people ). The capital ( Burmese ) and the Chin State ( tribal people ), will still give you 2 hugely different perspectives. Also like black and white.

I would add a couple of possible options: 1: Spend a day taking the Slow Train through the mountains between Inle Lake (the train station is in the town of Shwenyuang, a few miles north of the lake) and the small train junction town of Thazi. The next day you can take a 3-hour train from Thazi to Mandalay. 2. Spend a day on a riverboat traveling on the Irrawaddy river between Mandalay and Bagan.

    Yeah, the design is so beautiful. Yes, it's very old, whatever Myanmar has all are very old, there is nothing new to see because Myanmar was the second richest country in Asia long time ago,at that time they built/ constructed the beautiful buildings and Pagodas. But Myanmar haven't been developed since many many years. All countries are developing but Myanmar is becoming poorer because of the wars. Now there is nothing new and beautiful.
    If Myanmar were develop, it would be very beautiful place. I can't image because their fashions are very amazing 🤩😍😍. One special thing about Myanmar is clothes, you can see how beautiful it looks if you search on Google when girls wear their traditional dress.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💪💪

    Please visit Myanmar. Myanmar, in reality, is a very beautiful and peaceful country. People are very kind and friendly. It comes from their hearts. The United Nations has been unfairly treating Myanmar in a very heavy-handed way with regards to Rohingya issues. And the people in the world are getting the wrong impressions about Myanmar. And Daw Aung Su Kyi is put under pressure by the world bodies to solve these problems instantly, which have existed for centuries. To start with, the British were responsible for bringing these people into Myanmar as labour forces in those colonial days, and didn't care to send them back to where they came from after they had left Myanmar for good. That time, Myanmar was just starting as an independent nation, and had no resources and wealth to repatriate these people. The British occupied Myanmar from 1824 to 1948 for 125 years. During that time, there was no record of the existence of the so called Rohingya people. They were recorded as Bengali people from Bangladesh. If one look at the Rohingya people, even though they say they have lived in Myanmar for so long, 99.9% of the present day so called Rohingyas do not speak the Myanmar language. They enclave themselves and speak only Bengali language. On the other hand, the world wants Daw Aung San Su Kyi to do decisive actions while the military is still holding 25% of power and holding the strings. The worst scenario would be to bring back all the Rohingya people, and then see the military backed party won the next election. That will be the end of democracy in Myanmar. And Myanmar will go under the darkness again. No freedom and no Democracy. It is a very complex issue and Myanmar, as a nation, has to weigh its future and have to make decisions in the best interest of the country. For the Rohingya issue, the UN has relied mainly on the oral histories of the Rohingya people without concrete evidence, and labelled the event as “ethnic cleansing” and “genocide”. The former UN Secretary General Mr. Kofi Annan had rejected the genocide claim, and through his report on The Advisory Commission on the Rakhine State, which he chaired, including three international experts and 6 locals. The Commission’s final report was endorsed by all fifteen members of the UN Security Council in October 2017. UN can’t deny their former UN Secretary General Mr. Kofi Annan’s rejection on the genocide issue. The UN’s accusation was very strong and harsh and it is far from reality. While the UN has investigated the Rohingya issue vigorously, they have swept away the other issue that had happened on the 29 September 2012 in Bangladesh. On the 29 September 2012, hundreds of Myanmar people who were living in Bangladesh for centuries were raped, killed, including babies, their houses burnt down, Buddhist monasteries were torched and were driven out of Bangladesh. Many Rohingya people from Rakhine went to Bangladesh and helped to kill as many Myanmar people as they can. It was in the Bangladesh newspapers. The event was planned systematically and some witnesses say that they have seen the local politicians amongst the many truckloads of people that came to destroy and killed Myanmar people. It was a premeditated and well organised event. More Myanmar people may have died in that event than the Rohingyas who had fled Myanmar recently. After that horrendous death of many Myanmar people in Bangladesh in 2012, the Myanmar government had accepted over 300,000 Myanmar refugees officially. Unofficially, hundreds and thousands of Myanmar people fled and crossed into Myanmar. Up until now, there is no voice from the UN about the 2012 event, but just silence. There were no known proper investigations by the UN and doesn’t seem to be interested in doing one. Why is it so? Out of interest, Mr. Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussen was the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights until 2018. The UN has gone through the world-wide media campaigns against Myanmar and all sort of sanctions were imposed. Also, the world media and the UN are forcing Myanmar to accept the Rohingya people as an ethnic group of Myanmar. If you contemplate from the Myanmar side, it seems to be a very hard thing to accept them as one of their own ethnic group. The so called Rohingyas look the same as the people from Bangladesh. They speak the same Bengali language (maybe with a little bit of variation in some cases) and have the same culture and religion. It is hard to believe that just by crossing a little dry river into Myanmar, one could transformed into a Rohingya instantly from an original Bangladeshi. It is like a group of Myanmar people crossing into Bangladesh and calling themselves as “Mohinga” people, claimed to be one of the ethnic groups of Bangladesh, and demand an autonomous Buddhist region for all of the southern part of Bangladesh. The people of Bangladesh would never accept that. Similarly, the Myanmar people would not be able to accept the Rohingya as one of their own ethnicity. It is like calling a Ford a Mustang. Does that mean it is not a Ford anymore? If DNA testings were carried out, the DNA of Rohingyas would match perfectly with that of the Bangladeshis. The UN has been pursuing the Muslim minority issue vigorously, accusing Myanmar of ethnic cleansing. But in contrast, it is not the same treatment for Myanmar people who had suffered atrocities and ethnic cleansing in Bangladesh in 2012. As far as UN is involved, so far, there isn’t any mention on the event of 2012 where many Myanmar people have died, let alone any criticism on Bangladesh. UN has never interviewed the local people in Rakhine, on how they have lived in fear of these so called Rohingya people for centuries, who were cruel, unkind, beheading locals and have no compassion towards non- Muslims. The UN’s attitude has been very unkind to Myanmar and it looks like it is so easy to bully a very poor country like Myanmar and yet turn a blind eye on what Bangladesh had done to the Myanmar people in 2012. It is so unfair and unkind. UN should also investigate on what Bangladesh has done to Myanmar people in 2012 - genocide and ethnic cleansing. The recent event of Rohingyas fleeing Myanmar started with the 5 Muslim men brutally raping a young Burmese girl and mutilated her body afterwards. The local people saw this and couldn't take it anymore. And then the Muslim ARSA terrorist group attacked the police outposts and hacked people brutally with machetes to behead them. Myanmar side couldn’t take the aggression anymore and that’s how all these things started. It is a grass root level clashes and a localised grass root response. The reality in Rakhine state in Myanmar was that, at the grass root level, the local Myanmar people are being raped, killed and had lived in fear of these people for centuries. The way these people kill the local people were always by beheading or slitting the throats. It reminds one of the similar tactics used by other terrorists groups. It also hints their sentimental links to extreme terrorists groups, although they wouldn’t admit it. However, setting aside all these things, in difficult times like these, we should be showing our love and kindness towards each other, instead of spreading hatred, as hatred will never cease through hatred, but only through love and understanding alone they will cease. Myanmar is ready to take back the Muslims who fled across, but they wouldn’t want to come back, as most of them are those who crossed into Myanmar border illegally (the border is a dry river about 15 meters wide in summer). Please visit Myanmar and find out about the truth on how beautiful the country is and how kind the people are. There you will find a lot of mosques close to churches and pagodas, existing in harmony. In times of crises, the Buddhist monasteries are the places where the Muslims go for protection and food. The monks feed them and protect them. You will also see a lot of Muslims and Indians walking about in the streets and doing businesses. You will recognise them by the way they dress. You can see them living together in harmony. If you visit Myanmar, you’ll find a very beautiful country with kind and friendly people led by Daw Aung San Su kyi and thriving for progress for the betterment of the whole nation. If you boycott Myanmar, the only people who will suffer are the innocent people who rely on tourism. Please visit Myanmar and you’ll find a very beautiful country with kind and friendly people.

      @George Win, totally agreed, people should visit Myanmar and go to Rakhine state to see for themself the true picture of the Rohingya crises. Keep in mind that only western media delivered the wrong and distorted facts about
      Myanmar, and ONLY people in the West and Islamic world believed it , but most people in Asia, specially Southeast Asia still support Myanmar friends, even the Muslims in Malaysia and Indonesia.

      The 2012 series of attacks were not a one sided feat, although if supposedly began after Rohingya men were accused of raping Buddhist women that was never actual proven correct, also in the conflict more Rohingya were killed than non-muslim citizens and compared to the current conflict that situation was minimal. I understand how its easy to say they are Bangladesh citizens when you think they look and talk like them but they have lived in Myanmar at least since the nation was officially established and most likely decades before that. You can see this as they were specifically not recognized in the constitution and that caused for much backlash as it was well know that they resided there. And even if you would like to disagree with that, being a citizen of a nation isnt specific to one type of person. Even if someone speaks a different language or looks different doesn't mean they shouldn't be treated as a human being and not a pest. Even labeling them as immigrants is not a valid excuse for the brutal massacres taken out by the Myanmar security forces. ARSA is a low level branch of ISIS/ allegiance group, that is not wide spread throughout the Rahkine state and has not been very successful in attacks . So when they say they are just fighting ARSA and then it can be seen that and entire village of people not associated with ARSA is burned down, im sorry but that is absolutely no way to justify that. One of the biggest reasons why this conflict is so focused on is because of a lack of information. You and Suu Kyi claim that these actions in the Rahkine state are just to fight ARSA and no human rights abuses are occurring, than why is she not allowing any UN investigators or any journalists into the country. If what you are saying is true than why shouldn't she want NGOs and agencies to go into myanmar and help the myanmar people who you believe are the ones being threatened. Official UN bodies have attempted to gain information through sattelite photos and cross checking the accounts of displaced refugees and they have seen unimaginable massacres with their own eyes. You can see the photos and videos of Rohingya villages being burnt to the ground and security forces killing thousands of innocents. This is not a western sham, this is what is happening and no matter how much you attempt to justify it, it will not be allowed. Entire nations ould not call this a genocide or an ethnic cleansing if their wasn't sufficient evidence for it. Also the government of myanmar has not made large strides to follow the recommendations of the advisory committee. Probably the largest section in that document in military reform. In myanmar the military has no oversight, they can stop any legislative adjustments of the constitution, and have overwhelming power in Myanmar. Last year ASEAN (which myanmar is a part of and its allies) began a fact finding mission into the accusations against the myanmar security forces and they found that an estimated 43,700 parents have been killed, just parents of Rohingya children. And the Bangladeshi prime minister has estimated 1.1 million Rohingya now lie in Bangladesh as a result of violence. And you say they dont want to go back but if you listen to the reports about what the refugees are saying, they say they have no where to go back to because their homes are destroyed, and they are afraid the will go back to see violence and bloodshed once again, they are afraid for their lives. So unless Ann San Suu Kyi allows numerous investigations and journalists or she owns up to the actions of the military than nations should continue to press economic sanctions and stop the tourism business so that she will feel the punishments and allow for investigations.

      Dear Julia, glad that you have stated your points. What you were saying is exactly the same with the world bodies and the world media portraying the situations in Myanmar as such. What I have presented were the real life experiences of the local people living in Rakhine. You have mentioned that "Rohingya men were accused of raping women was never actual proven correct". In deed it has happened and that's why the local people had exploded. You also mentioned about people burning the Rohingya villages. Can we really prove that or could it be the Rohingyas under the threat of ARSA doing those acts? We can't be sure. But what is sure and certain is that in the "Myanmar Times Burmese", on the 18 Jan 2020 edition, there was a man called U Ba Aye who stated that the ARSA separated Hindu men and women and cut off the private parts (please pardon me) of the men before killing them. They were buried in a mass grave. 45 corpses were found including children. Then, they took the Hindu girls and women to Bangladesh.and raped them repeatedly on the way. The women were ordered to say that the Burmese army raped them and killed the Hindus. The Hindus in Rakhine went and rescued these women with great difficulties. U Ba Aye said they can prove it. Now this is the real fact that has proof. Through the "Myanmar Times Burmese", you can track down U Ba Aye and other Hindus in Myanmar and hear it for yourself whether they are true or not. Rohingya people in Rakhine, as well as in Bangladesh camps are under the influence of the ARSA. ARSA ordered them what to say to the media. That's the fact and we can't rely on what we hear. On the humanitarian issue, Burmese people are naturally kind-hearted people' unless they are severely harmed. You have to be in Myanmar to know this fact. It is very hard to make them angry. Once they are angry, like any other human being, they would explode. Hope you understand the village life as it is and have sympathy for the local people in Rakhine. At the moment, there are battles raging in Rakhine between the AA and the Burmese army. It is very hard for any NGO or the press to go in and investigate, like it was in 2017. In the end, we are all human beings. Religions and how you look doesn't matter. At the basic level, we are all trying to be happy. But, it needs to be fair and give respect to each others' space. Hatred never cease through hatred. Only through love alone they will cease. The Myanmar side is doing it's best and it would be helpful if we look at these with an integrated point of view. If this case is not handled wisely, the party that represent the military will win the next election. Then Burma will go into the darkness again and democracy will possibly be gone. Take care Julia, and hope you have a wonderful day.

    Such a visual and inspiring video for people who wants to come and explore Myanmar. Two points to keep in mind. Yangon is not the capital city, that would be Naypyidaw located in the centre of the country. Also the traditional Burmese skirt worn by men, women, old and young is called longyi. It's really comfy!

    The thing u said “Myanmar skirt” is called Longyi

    • @jayboi9109
      @jayboi9109 4 года назад +6

      The men skirts are called Pasoe

    • @yanshin86
      @yanshin86 4 года назад +4

      Longyi is equivalent to Skirt. Generally can use for both man and woman skirt. If you want to say specifically, man skirt is called "Pasoe" and suppose to tie to front. For woman skirt, we called "Hta Mi", suppose to tie side way.
