***** Ryan Drummond and Jaleel White was originally going to voice Dreamcast and Classic Sonic respectively, but they never made the cut. And Jason Griffith wasn't bad as Sonic, he just lacked the adventure-appealing Ryan Drummond had and instead focused more on being a wise Sonic. Roger on the other hand, removes the wise brain of Jason, and gives him back the cocky Ryan, yet he's still somehow smart as he is able to talk about science in Lost World. Yet, Roger does seem like a combination between Ryan and Jason.
Honestly if there ever was a VA battle between Yuri Lowenthal, Liam O'Brien and Roger C. Smith we all know who'd win. This guy seriously surprises me because he can do so many different voices. I would have NEVER guessed that the same guy that voiced Batman voiced Sonic.
I cannot wait to someday meet Roger when I pursue my lifelong career as an animation(mostly anime & video games) voice actress! He's so my favorite Sonic & should voice him forever & ever!!
