The engine torque points to a LS3, should be 479ft.lbs or 650Nm for 520HP(The LS7 in the Z28 had 481ft.lbs 4800rpm and 505HP at 6100rpm but at 200rpm less than a LS7 in a Z06, plus it's been tested to have the same HP as a GT350 or around 525, same dyno, same time), the GT1 7L has 590 HP and 640ft.lbs/868Nm.
I have not really been a fan of Corvettes. The 60s models were cool but these newer ones are badass and this looks and sounds beautifully race prepped.
I have always loved corvettes and their beautiful V8 engines. In truth, I tell you that I'm inquisitive to see the new model with a central engine. Now 'Vette can compete with the Europeans 😉
@@upsidedowndog1256 In Europe, the Corvette is generally sold at twice that price. It was also so with previous models. From you in the United States because of the cost would not be comparable with a Porsche, here in Europe instead yes.
@@Italiansupercarvideo In the US they have also been around $100,000+. It DID have a centrally mounted engine before, just in front. It was as far behind the front axle as rear engine cars engines are in front of the rear axle, if not more. Edit: remember, i am not a big fan of these.
@@upsidedowndog1256 By now there is no other way if you want to build a highly competitive performance super sports car, the engine wants to be central-rear. I appreciate the fact that the Corvette intends to try. After all, the Ford GT is a splendid American achievement.
Thats not the manual gearbox and I’m pretty sure it’s a ls9. You can se the paddle shifters on the steering wheel and the golden “gear leaver” is for the reverse. Have exactly the same car back in Sweden.
Thank you very much for this comment. You're right, I wrote a wrong thing, and I fix it. Thanks for letting me know. As for the engine, I'd be pretty sure it's an LS7, but the next chance I meet this team, I ask about it 👍
@@Italiansupercarvideo The C6 Z06 has 639 Nm at 4800rpm and the gen5 Camaro Z28 is 652 Nm at 4800rpm(has the same wheel HP as a S550 Mustang GT 350 so 525 HP(7100 rpm redline) instead of the 505 stated and that explains 505 at 6100 rpm for the Z28 vs 505 at 6300 rpm for the C6 Z06) which makes me wonder about 600 Nm and mabye the 5500rpm too, shouldn't need 5500rpm to make 600 Nm or it is 5500rpm but with a higher torque output.

Am I Correct to say this is the greatest GT3 Race car ever made.
Certainly one of the best GT3s 👍
Nah, bro. We have Ford GT, Dodge Viper CC and Aston DBRS9
911 RSR, Aston Martin DBRS9, Viper GTS-R are better imo.
Oh my God the sound when it slows down at 1:30 😍😍😍 where are there more videos of this car??!!
Unfortunately, there isn't much on RUclips. I hope to be able to film this car again in the future; it would be nice to try to film onboard as well 😉👍
Now this is pod racing
Beautiful livery
i like that race car 🥰🤩
Fun fact: This chassis won back to back titles in the UAE GT Championship.
It's a great racing car with a superb V8 sound. Thanks for the info 😉👍

We shall see. Its only supposed to be $60,000 USD. If so not much will be able to compete with IT!

@@Italiansupercarvideo I agree perty sure that’s the LS7 7 liter ,. It’s got one deep bark , 6.2 l ls9 has a loud bark but not like the ls7 .
wow sounds so much different to consumer ls7's
Yes definitely 👍
How does a guy get one of those?
He's not a guy but a private team. These cars can be bought.
I want one how much Euro
Basically a stock LS7 sans mufflers
It's muffled quite a bit actually. No side exhausts here.
awfully quick shifts for a standard T6060!
BOB ROTHWELL it’s not manual. Have you can see the paddles on the steering wheel
