All of this really fascinates me. A simulation into a bygone era, where rolling stock was diverse in terms of GOH and Pre-GOH trains especially in 1988. 👍

An interesting time indeed! I remember as a kid when I saw the r44/46 before and after overhaul, it made me question if I imagined the blue stripes, p-wire sound and window roll signs!

Dude I love your music so much! Goes so well with the visuals! 10:59 and the zoom in at 11:06 are such cool shots!

I’m really glad you enjoy it! ☺️ trying to combine two of my passions, making synth music and making videos with the rich history of the New York City Subway!

An excellent video of all the different types of subway cars back in 1987 to 1993. I remember when the R17s were the oldest on the IRT lines and were retired in late 1987 to early 1988. I also remember the R10s were the oldest on the C train. They were retired in 1989. In 1993, the R30s were retired. Oh well, it was good at the time. I still miss the old subway cars.

I’m glad you enjoyed it Dan! I agree with you I miss the old subway, the only cars left I grew up with are the r46s, r62s and r68s. Sadly the r46s are slowly retiring as well.

Do u know if when the twin towers got bombed in 1993, did the subway also get damaged below the bombing of the twin towers ?
