Kobe may have not won MVP this season, but everyone knew Kobe was the best player in the league. A lot of players had a great season, but Kobe outshined them all.
Didn't matter how great a season Nash, Wade, LeBron, Dirk, Iverson were having (although they had a great season) Kobe was unreal. What he did this season still hasnt been broken & its been 13 seasons. Just look at these shots hes taking , Kobe Avging 35ppg on jumpshots, fadeaways, double teams, triple teams, had no All Star in his roster, & still lead Lakers to the playoffs.

A. C probably his “style of play” not his performance, production, defense, basketball iq, proficienty and efficienty, court awareness and most importantly his LEADERSHIP. In 06 kobe got them to the playoffs and didn’t take Kobe long to get the lakers back to finals mode..
