Elizabeth I have to chuckle when you say you could see yourself down my the trees and rock boulders living there. What many may not realize is that flash flooding happens along these beds and dry river beds. Never camp in these areas when rain is in the forecast. Be safety aware. This is desert country. In Capital Reef massive floods have gone through very sides openings 1/2 mile or more and caused the earth to change drastically. What people will find out when exploring Utah is that the scenery changes so much around every curve and turn. So much to see and choose from. It's like turning pages in a picture book. Glad you are feasting your eyes and feeding your souls with God's creative beauty. You have only seen about 1% of the astounding beauty the state has to offer. The southwestand/or the four corner states are amazing with so many hidden gems.
You are so right! To stay somewhere, you have to know more than just the fact that it is beautiful! Yes, these four corner states have so much amazing beauty to offer! I haven’t been able to see the Milky Way in ages! 😄

I love boondocking the sites you see are amazing, and I love the quietness. Thank you for taking us along. I just bought the Thrive Life beef sauce, and I can't wait to try it. My first dish will be beef stew, that's why I bought it. we love beef stew but aren't able to have it as much as we would like, but now I think it's possible with Thrive. Till next time, God bless.

This was a beautiful video - so gorgeous! Being confined to a wheelchair, sharing your adventures vicariously is just awesome. Thank you for taking time to film. If you're going to camp alone in remote areas you might consider a satellite phone for one of you. It would be good to have if Elizabeth would need emergency medical attention or if Bill would have an accident and need an ambulance. Just a thought ... but then, I tend to be very cautious.
Of the mighty Five and dead horse Point Capital Reef my favorite because ur down inside the canyon.. Valley of Fire a beautiful second..I was born on the wrong side of the country..glad u can transfer to the truck cab if need a fast get away safer for sure.. I have just recently started watching your videos and I love them so much.Your travel videos are so amazing and the box truck camper is simple adorable.My husband and I are both in our mid 70’s and he is also a man of many trades but loves to piddle in his wood shop making swings and bird houses,feeders and whatever he likes to dream up.We we’re also stationed in Germany in 1969.You two are just plain simple people and are so enjoyable to watch.I have become an avid video watcher and I have just got so ingrossed in yours that takes up a lot of my time.Please keep on putting your videos out there!

My husband and I took that road 4 years ago just 4 months before he passed. It was our second time on highway 12 as we went that way in 1971 on our way to ft Riley Kansas. Both times we only went as far as Boulder and turned around because of snow. My heart was pounding as I drove that ridge lol.

There are some amazing Petroglyphs in Capital Reef. And yes, I remember driving that trek between Bryce Canyon and Capital Reef - - hair raising for sure!! Brent and I talked about the lack of guardrails - crazy!!! You're absolutely right about the magnificent night sky in the west. We used to sit outside at night just watching the stars, talking to God and listening to the quiet. I miss those days. So glad to see you having these wonderful experiences. I just added an indoor thermometer. I have been thinking about an indoor/outdoor thermometer, but haven’t done that yet. As far as a chargeable fan, I’m not sure what the purpose would be since we have a roof exhaust fan and plenty of battery to drive it. we open the windows and turn on the fan, and the camper cools off very quickly. If that’s not enough, we just turn on the A/C.
We love that area of the country and have visited all those National Parks as well! But we would have to say the drive from Utah going into Nevada on I - 15 through the Gorge will leave you speechless! It's amazing!

Utah has more national parks than any other state! It’s just absolutely beautiful. Petrified trees are amazing and how they turn to rock! It’s amazing what the Colorado River carved out! We took the mules to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and got to stay at Phantom Ranch, words cannot describe how amazing it was! Oh by the way, it was 126 at the bottom!

We have done this same trip but, we started in Arches NP and came west all the way through Zion. That ridge in Esscalante NP was scary but, oh so beautiful. Thanks ❤
Beautiful. When you went over the ridge and Eliza pointed the camera down the deep drops my stomach did the flip with the drop offs like I was there. lol. I can’t imagine driving that when roads snow covered. 😵💫
I loved the “Natural Bridges” and “Hoodoo” when we saw Bryce Canyon in 2008. We stayed at Rubys Inn campground directly behind the store. We didn’t go to this park.

I am enjoying memories via your travels. We have driven some of those very roads when we were younger. Absolutely no words to explain or describe the beauty and colors of Utah and those lower states as also in AZ. I was anxious for Bill driving that road with the huge drop offs on either side. I used to not be fearful of that type of roads or travel but now at 78, nope.......I can't do it. I would be climbing the walls with anxiety. I could do it when younger and glad we did as it is something everyone would find some type of beauty. Our USA has so many gorgeous places and adventures for exploring and Mountains it is unbelievable. Even in the desert there is beauty .......it's all around us each day if we just stop a minute to enjoy. Thank you for sharing, this was gorgeous and so glad you have gotten a bit of your bucket list items accomplished. Now you will now exactly where you want to go again! So fun!! We drove this and I’ll tell you it was the scariest drive I’ve been on in the U.S. Hwy 12! Wow! I was glad we were only pulling a Casita!

I loved the “Natural Bridges” and “Hoodoo” when we saw Bryce Canyon in 2008. We stayed at Rubys Inn campground directly behind the store. We didn’t go to this park.

I am enjoying memories via your travels. We have driven some of those very roads when we were younger. Absolutely no words to explain or describe the beauty and colors of Utah and those lower states as also in AZ. I was anxious for Bill driving that road with the huge drop offs on either side. I used to not be fearful of that type of roads or travel but now at 78, nope.......I can't do it. I would be climbing the walls with anxiety. I could do it when younger and glad we did as it is something everyone would find some type of beauty. Our USA has so many gorgeous places and adventures for exploring and Mountains it is unbelievable. Even in the desert there is beauty .......it's all around us each day if we just stop a minute to enjoy. Thank you for sharing, this was gorgeous and so glad you have gotten a bit of your bucket list items accomplished. Now you will now exactly where you want to go again! So fun!!
