I agree. My son retired on February 27th, 2024 he served 23 years. Was in Iraq three times in Afghanistan I think twice and once in South Korea. I am so so proud of him. He had two bad injuries in Afghanistan that he didn't even tell his wife or anyone in the family he finally told his dad right after he retired. He stepped on two different times some kind of bomb. And one of my grandson served 4 years in the Marines he didn't sign back up because he lost his hearing from a gun going off close to him He is doing good now and my son to. God is so good to me and my family. And Bill I thank you for your service to our country. Elizabeth is all smiles she always puts a smile on my face she is a beautiful lady inside and out. We started watching your videos as my Husband is working on our own camper van. We have a '93 10 foot box truck that used to be an Air Force Communications Vehicle. I grew up camping and he has the bug now. We have a Queen size bed, with a garage underneath. He built lithium batteries, installed and wired the electrical system, diesel heater and soon, solar panels. He is currently building a pull-out drawer for cooking. This is his love project for me. I have had a disease called Sarcoidosis since 1995. It has developed into Neurosarcoidosis, causing lesions in my brain and CNS issues and is systemic. I am 60 now and he wants to do things to make me happy while we have one another. We watch the love Bill puts into the van build. I see that in my own Husband. We also love the exuberance Elizabeth brings to everything! So glad we found you! God bless!

Hi Bill and Elizabeth, I am so glad that they honored Bill’s military service and gave you a life long pass. I really appreciate our military. My eldest brother was a Marine in Da Nang, Viet Nam during the Viet Nam war. He was there for 2 years. He died about 14 years ago and his ashes are in the graveyard in Arlington cemetery. So many emotions are flooding through my heart, mind and soul as I watch this beautiful video. I know we are not to be jealous or envious of others, but right now, I am beyond grateful to be enjoying this part of your journey! Tears of both joy and nostalgia are flowing. Utah and all points west was one of the last trips Brent and I took before he was too sick to travel. He and I stood in just about the same spot as you at Sunrise Point - what a remarkable view! We even talked about how close we felt to God as we marveled at His handiwork. We also talked about how the "structure" of the Hoodoos at all of the "Points" seem to change as the sun and clouds move around the sky. Can you imagine what the first settlers thought when they saw these incredible views?!?! WOW! Absolutely amazing!! Thank you so very much for sharing your journey - continued safe travels!! I was lucky enough to have a similar trip in 1987. Of all the places I was blessed to see, Bryce Canyon was my favorite. It was over 100 degrees, but I had goosebumps most of the time because I felt like I was in another world. It is an amazing and almost unbelievable place.

Went to Bryce Canyon many years ago with some friends and went to all the different parks that are in the area. The canyon is soo pretty! I love seeing the arches! My husband and I did a short hike in the canyon and got out just before a rain storm that came thru.

Something I enjoy doing when off grid is writing. Use the time to write your childhood stories for your children. I use my phone notes to do my writing.
Oh my gosh. Like Elizabeth, I went to Bryce as a girl. Lo, thise many years ago. I’m currently 74 years old. We were scheduled to tour Utah next summer. But a myriad of events this year made it impossible. That’s ok. It’s still on the family list. Once grandson graduates from San Diego State in 3 years it will be easier. But now I am going to campaign for Bryce. Thx so much for the inspiration!!

I've ridden lot in the mountains in NM because it was not such a long haul from Texas, but I no long can afford a horse nor the truck and trailer!. The dairy farm my Kiwi parents bought (after selling their 2nd Dairy farm in NZ) outside of Malanda on the Atherton Tablelands inland from CAIRNS, Nth. Queensland was up on a huge old volcanic site, and it had that same old rustic red soil everywhere. Stained everything it came in contact with, ... is that the same in that soil of the Bryce Canyon area ???

So many emotions are flooding through my heart, mind and soul as I watch this beautiful video. I know we are not to be jealous or envious of others, but right now, I am beyond grateful to be enjoying this part of your journey! Tears of both joy and nostalgia are flowing. Utah and all points west was one of the last trips Brent and I took before he was too sick to travel. He and I stood in just about the same spot as you at Sunrise Point - what a remarkable view! We even talked about how close we felt to God as we marveled at His handiwork. We also talked about how the "structure" of the Hoodoos at all of the "Points" seem to change as the sun and clouds move around the sky. Can you imagine what the first settlers thought when they saw these incredible views?!?! WOW! Absolutely amazing!! Thank you so very much for sharing your journey - continued safe travels!! I went through so many different emotions watching this that I'm exhausted, lol.😊 Breathtaking scenery, memories of my own camping experiences, tears, and appreciation for our military...and when Elizabeth mentioned flying in Heaven, I cried! I have so often talked to God about this beautiful creation and not being able to see it all. One of my fondest dreams is to Fully explore the new earth. I was lucky enough to have a similar trip in 1987. Of all the places I was blessed to see, Bryce Canyon was my favorite. It was over 100 degrees, but I had goosebumps most of the time because I felt like I was in another world. It is an amazing and almost unbelievable place.

Went to Bryce Canyon many years ago with some friends and went to all the different parks that are in the area. The canyon is soo pretty! I love seeing the arches! My husband and I did a short hike in the canyon and got out just before a rain storm that came thru.

Something I enjoy doing when off grid is writing. Use the time to write your childhood stories for your children. I use my phone notes to do my writing.

Oh my gosh. Like Elizabeth, I went to Bryce as a girl. Lo, thise many years ago. I’m currently 74 years old. We were scheduled to tour Utah next summer. But a myriad of events this year made it impossible. That’s ok. It’s still on the family list. Once grandson graduates from San Diego State in 3 years it will be easier.
