Thanks for the info!! I’ll be fishing there with my dad in a week and a half. We went to the Wendy’s last year and it was too steep for my dad but we’ll try whitewater!! Thanks again!!

I got a rope about 15' long with knots every foot I use to go down embankment. Helps a lot. That Ole man rope is featured in Saturdays scheduled video coming out.

I'm going this week and the funniest thing about your secrets spots, they are 150 yards from some of the best spots in Cherokee. SOCO and Bunches are awesome

Thanks for the advice on the fishing spots. My buddy just bought a house in Andrew’s so we’ll be definitely visiting those spots!

Thanks for sharing the info, we will be up that way next week for a few days, I hope I can slip away for a day and try my luck, what day of the week were you fishing for this show ? I have heard that they stock on Wednesday and Thursday, it will be Tuesday if I get to go so the fish population may be a bit low if the stocking schedule is a day later haha

I fished Wednesday thru Saturday. I got a video on the hatchery, interesting facts about stocking.

Doesn't really make me enthusiastic to fish in those places.

Cherokee has some great streams. In the Catch & Release , fly rod only some over 10lbs. Hope you catch your limit.

Are you able to keep any of the fish you catch in these spots in thisvideo? Or is it catch & release?

    • @HeeyManFishing

Catch & Keep areas on my video. If I am using a fly rod I am in the catch an release. I have not started filming that 2 mile section yet.

Couple months I fished down below the Wendy's towards the campground. On the Wendy's side of the campground and a damn dog, a very aggressive damn dog came out and I had to whack him on his nose with fishing pole. I didn't go on to the campground because it was marked no trespassing but their dog had no problem coming on the other side to where I was at. Just be careful

Not sure what's going on with that campground, my first time there years ago they asked me not to come through the camping area. I respect that. I have came across a few dogs fishing up there. Most are friendly. But got to be careful.
