    I am extremely happy to see more videos from you folks. I jam with my NDLR at least a few hours every week... if not daily. it has helped me meander through some tough times in the last couple of years.
    BTW, happy to share my Voltage Modular modules that control the NDLR with you and the team if you wish. The NDLR amd modular are a match made in heaven.

      That’s great to hear you’re enjoying the NDLR. Your use case is exactly what we had in mind when we made the NDLR. I’d love to hear more about your Module.

    Thanks so much Daryl and Steve.. I am new to the NDLR and have just started using Mk2. A wonderful piece of kit, I am still awaiting the arrival of the MRCC, purchased to help tame my MIDI setup. I congratulate you both on your innovative and extremely usable equipment. Kind regards Mick from Aus.

    Happy New Year to you two guy´s ! You are the best goddam Dynamic Duo in Sequencer land ! I LOVE my MRCC and my Noodler , and you helped me become a pretty good musician , on the synth´s - (im a bassplayer) I will kindly , ask you guy´s to get the MRCC and the NLDR a 3. cousin - a EURORACK implemtation Module - that binds the Noodler and the MRCC together with EURORACK - i was thinking , drawing the powers from your first two products , a with a Eurorack Module - get Midi and MPE capabillities with Eurorack in Memento into a module that can transfer all the data from the noodler and the MRCC into Controlled Voltages , and get Multi-timbrality and MPE and maybe even some dope polyrytmic bonanza into the module as well - im mean - you already GOT the foundation in the Sequncer , and the Midi-Hub in the mix - so now its time to go all in with a "Noodler friendly" interface with Eurorack ! I KNOW its the right way to go , for the Conductive Labs ! you could get UBER massive big , in the Eurorack Sequencer/Stocastic Triggerer/ Polyrytmic/multi-timbrality diasphora !

    OK so I was asking people for ages how to do this as wanted my KSP to have a sequence to trigger the NDLR's changes as I would be tweaking the synths.
    I never got it working and no one knew how to do it, so this vid is super helpful.
    I am getting my gear all fired up as they have been in hiatus for a couple of years, this should be fun and is great timing.

      @legosteveb 10 месяцев назад +1

      Great that you’re getting your gear back out. There is also a chord sequencer built into the NDLR. And a midi cc controller turn Ables you to change your synth’s parameters, like cutoff & resonance, pan & volume and a couple other cc that you can configure.

    • @dankeplace
      @dankeplace 10 месяцев назад

      @@legosteveb yeah the CC changes are DAF, I have been looking for a MIDI controller for ages, but there is nothing that does what I want, some are on ETSY which makes it hard for me to get or trust, 1 in mind is USB only so needs additional hardware.
      Seems my solution was right under my nose.

    so does these modes essentially make this a midicake arp? i think the midicake acts a little differently? by adapting to the pressed keys, rather than triggering the buttons on the NDLR?

    a quickie-question, I meant to post this at the forum....
    last week I was remote-controlling the NDLR from a deluge, using the mode 3 'NDLR set key' config.
    I used PCs from the deluge to set the master key by recalling presets (this was simplest & gave me enough opttions + some other variation within the presets).
    the trigger notes on the deluge were often a couple of bars apart, & at that resolution, the deluge automatically inserts 32nd notes.
    unfortunately, the NDLR reads this as four separate note-on events, creating an unwanted strum on the pad sound.
    it doesn't happen when I use a keyboard instead of the deluge.
    I can't work out where the extra note-ons are coming from, & will report back when I've pointed the whole lot into midi-ox or something.

    • @legosteveb
      @legosteveb 10 месяцев назад +1

      That’s a great question. Midi ox is your friend :-) I use it all the time to debug. I wish there was a windows 10 version of Midi ox! :-)
      If you have an MRCC you can also use that as a “midi ox”, with a built-in midi monitor.

    is there a way to just play normal chord positions on the midi controller instead of the 1 key chord function?

    • @DarrylMcGee
      @DarrylMcGee Месяц назад

      You mean like a traditional arpeggiator, where you play a chord and it arps those notes? NDLR does not have a traditional arp function. The Conductive Labs MRCC has traditional arpeggiators, 6 of them!

  • @pontram
    @pontram 9 месяцев назад

    Hi, is there any way to use the NDLR as a normal Arpeggiator with rhythmic features, similiar to the Mininova (8 steps) or the Unosynth Pro (16 steps), where you can switch off/on single steps in a rhythmic pattern ? I would like to have 2 or 3 or 4 of those patterns in parallel. Since the NDLR lacks a 16-step pattern array, I could imagine controlling the pattern via the control key channel and another small keyboard or controller, like the kmm k-board.
    I know that NDLR is more of a generative tool, and most instructional videos therefore do show only the box and no external Midi keys for chords. But it is also called, between other things, an arpeggiator, so I would like to know if it can traditional arpeggiaton with that rhythmic bonus.

    Hello! I recently saw a video in which the musician played SHIFT + BUTTON + BUTTON and complex 9th chords played and appeared on the screen. This is not explained in the manual, right? Thank you !! I'm so excited , mine arrives soon !! Good job !! 🎶🎹

      As far as I know there are no 9th chords defined in the NDLR. I guess a sus2 might sound like a 9th, given the correct inversion.

      No, that red faceplate is a one of a kind sample. We decided to make the base red instead, it feels a bit more Kraftwerk themed.
