Hey gang!
Having an English Teacher for a fiancée really came in handy for this one folks I'm not gonna lie. Very excited for everyone to see this one. I love me some Shakespeare and being able to throw dumb background jokes into this one was very satisfying for me, so maybe I'll try and get more bard-related animations out there in the future?
Hope you enjoy!

Love “Lady MacBeth” washing her hands in the kitchen sink, but the “special sauce” won’t wash off!
Out, damn sauce!
Could also be the sporcial sorce. For Duncan your chorkin.
ooooh, excellent spot
"Special sauce is thicker than water."
@@slyasleepwhich won't come out
"THAT BEEF, is placed upon a bun :D"
The rapid swap in tone killed me
just like macbeth killed the king
and a sUUUper special sauce!
That tone swap was Verhoevenesque.
NOT UNLIKE THE COW
A burger so good you can’t mention it in other restaurants
It's known as the Scottish burger.
HOT POTATO, ORCHESTRA STALLS, PUCK WILL MAKE AMENDS! OW!
@@viridian5maureen853 "Do you have the Scottish burger?"
"Sorry, we took it off the menu after someone was crushed by the ice cream machine. Also the ice cream machine is broken."
@@jonothanthrace1530 "Good Lord, you mean you have to do that every time I say MacBeth?"
This is an underrated joke except it has 1.5k likes so it's a very rated joke but still absolutely love it
Ross is really coming for Brennan's crown as the king of improv monologuing
If Ross had been there from day 1, ... just imagine. 4 podiums. Zac, Josh, Ross, Brennan...
Dude they should tooootally have a special together!
I’ll be honest I thought this WAS Brennan for a hot sec
I can now picture Ross murdering Brennan in his sleep and being confused about how Brennan, after waking up and assessing the situation, chooses to spring into an hours-long dramatic impromptu death monologue instead of just calling an ambulance.
Your prompt is "Call an ambulance - but not for me!"
Between this and the David Attenborough bit, I am DELIGHTED that there are more DBI animations to bring Ross Bryant to the masses.
I'm absolutely in awe of his improv singing as well! His Tom Waits karaoke was fire
:O same pfp
The show is perfect to be animated
Ross is an absolute treasure.
This and the Attenborough one are priceless. I’m taking this and that and starting a playlist that I can watch whenever I’m in a not-so-great mood.
My favorite part is including Lady M doing out out damned spot in the background of the commercial; such a perfect detail!
It's the super special sauce 😉
Also up there is that the people he's walking past before talking about the meat are MacDuff's army with their Birnam forest camouflage
Actually that whole bit from the opening to his head on a pike is just the ending of the play, the highlights. XD
"This spot stubborn AF, on god, frfr."
Ross' pitch was the very thing that sold me on Dropout, I can't wait to see it animated!
I love the Macbeth. As my father always said, "The sense of betrayal really seals in the flavor."
That’s bad ass
I think the “The Only Sandwich with meat taken from a cow, that trusted the butcher with its VERY LIFE” part lives rent free in my head
Uuuh, this is like one of my favourite bits from the show. Ross is a f*cking legend.
Agreed ❤️
@@DeepBlueInk Terrific job like always! Great creativity of using the hysteric laugh at 0:43 to animate something entirely different in the background.
Blue Blue Blue. You simply must animate Brennan Lee Mulligan's story about beating the snot out of the crust punk who tried to fight him. It's on the podcast 99 Questions
Oh my god what? I'll look it up this weekend
@@DeepBlueInkit's amazing. Long live the the blue handlebar bandito
Gonna need a timestamp for that 4 hour plus podcast!
@@Miller0533:48:00 on the pod, there’s also a compilation out there called “17 minutes of brennan being confrontational” that clips the story and it takes up about half of the comp. definitely kind of a long story 💀
Wellp, thank you for revealing to me what i'll be listening to while i work on D&D maps this afternoon. I love that it begins with Brennan saying "as someone who *tries* to practice self-awareness, we are *not* in danger of short answers here" and Buel, the host, mentioning the record length *so far* is 4 hours. Now that's some dramatic irony.
It's the EXTREMELY hard start right into the bit that does it for me. There was ZERO hesitation on Ross' part. The ancient spirit of Macbeth has been residing within this mortal body for years now and this was the ONE chance he had to finally emerge.
I fully believe he just blacked out for sixty seconds
If more commercials were like this, TV would be a hell of a lot more entertaining.
Yeah, I might not even hit the Skip Ad button if I saw one like this
They used to be if i recall but only for like really expensive ad slots like super bowl
@@Brian-tn4cd And some of them get banned
Such as it was until the last television commercial writer died inside.
This monologue lives rent free in my brain every day.
jesus christ, you people still doing the 'rent free in my brain' thing?
And tomorrow... and tomorrow... and tomorrow!
@@zeebzeebo and you're doing the 'gate keeping' thing, so, good luck to both of us.
Ba ba ba ba ba! I’m lovin it!
@@jiggybean8514 They'll still be keeping that gate tomorrow. And tomorrow... and tomorrow... and tomorrow!
Having Anna unable to wash the blood from her hands in the background was just perfection. Wonderful work as always!
wdym, that’s just special sauce
Off off damn sauce!
I love how you always pick up the smallest background giggles and figure out how to include them in your animation!
So much talent 👏👏👏
We cannot wash the special sauce from our sinful hands
Out damned sauce!
When you're hungry and Lady Macbeth tell's you 'She knows a spot".
I appreciate all the people holding trees. Since they're not brined yet, they're probably cucumber trees. Which are placed upon the beef, as pickles~ along with a super special ~sauce.~
...that... is not how cucumbers grow
@@leeshajoiIndeed. They are in actuality oak trees. I fully forgot how cucumbers grow. Do you know?
@@DecafInvidiaThey grow on vines on the ground.
@@leeshajoi Ohhhh that's interesting! They grow from vines. Kind of like grapes! Thanks for the info.
the trees is a clever reference to the play itself, where macduff's army disguises themselves as trees
Idk what’s the funniest part, the actual jokes Ross made, the silent animated bits that have been added by y’all like the cow parts breakdown or the over the top extra ass captions 😂😂 like I’m sorry but “the hungry masses laugh with glee at the slaughter” had me SCREAMING
The last shot of the cow is so soulcrushingly beautiful i will now cry for 20 minutes.
awesome work as always!!!!!
YES! This was my favorite part of the video. I'm surprised it doesn't get more love.
I can't decide between Lady M and Duncan Cow. Both are such great choices.
Trying to wipe the sauce off and not being able to was ABSOLUTELY GOLD LMAO
I absolutely love all the little details you added in and direct references to elements of the actual Scottish Play, including the bloodied hands and the soldiers using trees as disguises hahahaha 10/10
Oh my goodness that was fantastic. I could feel that character. The Macbeth references added with the tree branches and the blood that would not come off, too notch.
Side note Macbeth inspired several things in lord of the rings because Tolkien thought they were stupid. One of them was the forest marching on a castle. That’s why he has a literal forest marching on the bad guys in one scene.
Also Éowyn killing the witch king. No "man of woman born" c-section BS, just let a woman do it!
Every time I watch Make Some Noise or GameChanger or listen to Dimension 20 or MBMBAM now I just imagine what it would be like seeing it animated by DeepBlueInk. That’s legit the only thought I had in my head watching Jake and Vic do the Mr. Mayo bit recently.
I'm absolutely obsessed with Mr Mayo but I don't think I can improve on the visuals
Oh I’m positive you could find something as long as you attack it with the ferocity of Ross’ Scottish accent 😂
Actually having read MacBeth AND having had to memorize "Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow..." for school makes this so much more enjoyable on several levels! Washing the blood off hands "Out damn spot!" while mentioning a special sauce? lol Magnificent
God, I can't WAIT to see if you animate any of Vic's bits. She plays off Zach really well and is a master of bizarro situations.
The roller coaster breakup feels like it would be perfect in this style!
Her bits with Jake are also impressive!
Her bit about the secret menu items would be hilarious!
As someone who has performed in the Scottish play (not saying the name) I loved that skit massively I loved this massively great job deep blue ink. Hope you and your lass are well
❤️❤️❤️
MACBETH MACBETH MACBETH MACBETH
@@ErikNilsen1337You gonna die
As a Scot, let me just say...
I am lovin' it!
I love how this bit perfectly encapsulates the character development of Sir MacBeth from beginning to to end.
I quote "did ye work up an appetite??" basically every single day, thank you so much for this wonderful animation of my all-time favorite Make Some Noise bit Blue!!
One must always watch a DBI at least three times in order to catch all the subtle, blink and you’ll miss it, visual gags in the background. A Thigh for a Thigh is my favorite from this one.
when i tell you i HEARD the title in ross's scottish accent voice...
𝐖𝐄𝐋𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐄 𝐓𝐎 𝐌𝐂𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐃𝐒
In the immortal words of Stan Lee
*GREAT SCOTT*
You captured the horror of "...placed upon a bun! 😀" in his performance very well. That line genuinely fills me with sadness, which only makes it funnier. I guess now that I type it out like this, I realize that the selling point of the bit is the same one as the selling point of the sandwich. Anyway, this video is definitely the superior special sauce.
Holy crap the visual Macbeth jokes. The Dunsinane guys. LADY MACBETH AT THE SINK. Beautiful. Absolutely perfect.
“Cymbelean” got me good, that’s a DEEP CUT
Oh it's like barely a joke at that point, it's so tenuous
this is one of my favourites from game changers, you did it justice 11/10
"How shall ye break yer fast?" Honestly, what a raw line.
The out damn spot in the background really sold it for me
Having Anna do the Out Out Damn Spot! routine in the background and timing it to her laugh which already sounds like screaming... it's all simply perfect.
Now interesting point of order, you can't actually order it as the Macbeth. You have to order it as the Scottish Burger otherwise it brings bad luck to the entire fast food chain.
“Na’er these hands come clean” is a mainstay in my arsenal of references, and I’m so happy to have found your channel, these bits have never been so fun as they are animated!
Omg I can't wait for Mr. Ink to discover Mentopolis. "Mr. Ink" is almost punny enough to be an actual character
that ACCENT THO LOOOOOOOOOOL
and how Blue just captured the insanity of the entire thing was just flawless. I AM DECEASED FROM LAUGHING
I forgot about this clip. Thank you deep blue ink. This is gonna be fun
You managed to elevate perfection XP Excellently done!
Hey! Thanks so much for saying so!
As a Dropout fan AND a huge Shakespeare nerd, I *physically cannot express* how much joy this video gives me 😂
the moving forest especially, it's one of my favourite images in the play!!
Oh no, that animation of the cow opening its eyes had no right being so tragic
I genuinely upset myself animating it 😅
Oh! This is going to be good.
NOT THE CORIOL!!! god i adore every detail you put into your animations; it's so fun and shows so much love
I love it when even the production crew can’t stop laughing
My god, this is just crisp. GORGEOUS. GLORIOUS ANIMATION! It's just a delight to look at, I can't stop watching it.
Also, let's not let the humor go unappreciated. That's also something special.
Again, I just have to say, your transitions and movement have seriously leveled up! They were already great but it's really cool seeing your talents improve. You continue to impress as well as entertain.
Unsuccessfully trying to wash the blood off her hands in the background was a great touch.
The visual gag of the sauce not washing off is brilliant! I also like how sometimes in your animations you depict people laughing as them crying (the only other time I can remember being in the Togedemaru/Edge Of Tomorrow video).
Ross is so talented. His ability to adapt to improv in SECONDS is masterful
I swear this is probably the best improv they've ever had on the show, and they've had a lot of great ones!
I'm in love with how you explain what Naves and Chaps are immediately with the Cow diagram, 10/10
I don't even eat McDonald's and I would totally go down there and pick one up just based on that commercial
In the words of a great voice actor: "Looks like someone studied Shakespeare and now its everyones problem."
The references in the cow diagram are spectacular. You always do a great job rewarding people who pay attention!
I liked the thigh for a thigh.
"Offalo": the Moo of Venice!
this was incredible with the number of references to the original play, like with the men holding trees and lady macbeth washing her hands and stuff. very clever!
The fact that the soldiers carried the Forest of Birnam was a nice touch.
Anna as Lady Macbeth in the background is absolute gold 😂😂
The little "oh shit" pop up is just GOLD. This is one of my favorite bits that I just have to keep coming back to. Well done!
Even covered up the moment where he takes a moment to think how to proceed with the drop down diagram. A class editing.
"When the dawn breaks, how shall ye break your fast?"
That has to be one of the best lines I've ever heard.
God this is my favorite MSN bit ever and I’m sooo happy to see it animated
The only missing piece to this is that the prompt feels like a surreptitious callback to the criminally underappreciated "Scotland, PA" and yet he went full Shakespeare with the improv.
The Shakespeare references... even just the walking forest in the first scene... chef's kiss.
"Tomorrow... and tomorrow... AND TOMORROW." 💀
I've always wanted to see Ross's macbeth bit animated and you by the lords you delivered
Yelp review of the Macbeth sandwich: "'Tis a burger full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."
The cut between the very cinematic shot of the cow in bed and the zoom out to the commercial again send me omg-this is so well done!
The parts of the cow diagram is genius. Offalo? A thigh for a thigh? Amazing.
Dude, I am always in awe of every animation you make. Like you take these already absolutely iconic, hilarious bits, and make them even funnier, richer, and just better. Like adding the lore and background in each animation is so fucking cool, you always incorporate easter eggs so well. The emotional vigor, the drama balanced with the goofs. I love your art style, just, bro, I'm so grateful for you,
I don't think I can reply to this in a succinct way that'll get across how good this comment made me feel
0:41 The blood *never* washes away
This is one of the most perfect things the internet has produced.
What kills me is that the cow opens its eyes right before something bad is about to happen to it 😂
I need this to be a real McDonald’s menu item
This is one of my favorite bits, great animation!!
If commercials were like that, I would fucking enjoy watching them
I love the reference with the hands not coming clean either, macbeth slaps and it's always cool seeing things based on it
Have you done the *tap tap* "Give me your teeth!" Bit yet? I can only imagine how you would elevate that with your great animations and own comedy style.
The effort put into the punny map of cow parts made this for me
Love to see Make some Noise appreciation and Ross certainly deserves the spotlight, but I hope we see some other cast members get their share, too.
As a scotswoman, I can confirm; This is word for word with adverts I have seen today.
Ross is one of my favorite contestants I am so glad you animated this one
I love the Shakespeare puns on the different cuts of beef 😂 "Coriol" is my favorite 😂😂
This is the best thing, I forgot about the original.
AHM LOVIN' IT!
God, I was laughing from the moment Ross turned his head. Also, loved the work with Bug Hunter on the new album! Hope everyone is having a good day and thanks again DBI!
This is it folks. Fate had me study Macbeth for a year only to understand every reference in this masterpiece. Now I feel that it was worth it.
YES IM SO GLAD YOU MADE THIS ONE
Between these dropout clips and Drawfee always have something to look forward to on this channel. Keep it up.
Also just rewatched and "Offalo" is a gag that not enough people get as a wonderful Shakespeare/meat pun and you need to be recognized for it
Ross is a genius. I struggle with believing it, any time he's not the winner at the end of an episode he's in.
Well as we all know if Sam or Trap dont pick the winner we want it's our dut0y to get in the comments.
How will you break your fast was so goddamn clever, I love this so much
This is one of my favorite prompts. Right up there with the font war.
I don't think I've commented on any of your animations before, but i need to say that i absolutely LOVE how you draw glasses 🤓
Ross took this prompt and ran with it in the best way possible. I especially loved the added details with Lady Macbeth and the poor sleeping cow of king duncan
Phenomenal as usual! I dream of the time you do herculean task of animating the musical episode of Mountport in its entirety.
