This unit is a few years old now and I think the factory has changed the plug since I bought it. This isn’t strictly an Alpicool but it’s identical and from the same factory as the Alpicool that was being sold at the time.
Cool video. Hey there is a big fourth of July thing in ocean shores. Lots of RUclipsrs go to it. I go just because it's the biggest and most Awesome fourth of July display I've ever been to. First time there I swear I was about to leave because it was so intense. Explosions everywhere. Nothing that a nice Jack and coke can't fix. But it's amazing. You should try to make it out there. Thousands of people will be on the beach. If you go, get there early or the day before to setup your spot on the beach. It's a one of a kind experience. Hope to see ya out there.

Just depends on how often you want to go grocery shopping! The fridge I have is barely enough for one person. If you have the room, the ones you’re looking at are probably a better option.

A solution for the USB to stop it being damaged would be to use a short USB extension cable, so it only ever gets plugged in once.

I am choosing between a 33qt and 42qt dual zone alpicool. Am I buying a fridge that is too big for one person?

It is good that I know how to fix USB ports like that but the mini fridge is awesome. I have one of my own.
