AMC/Jeep 258 Engine Decking, Willys Engine Updates

In this video I finally have Scott's Jeep Scrambler AMC 258 engine on the blockmaster 85B and I am ready to get it decked perfectly flat. You can see that there are some highs and lows with the straightedge and feeler gauge. After a couple of passes and .005" milled the block is perfectly flat and in perfect alignment with the crankshaft centerline.
The Willys Americar 442 engine gets new valve guides and valves. A 3 angle valve job and all valves vacuum checked at 20 inches. This early Willys engine is now on the SIP Hydroptic 8 and is ready to precision boring.
With a table as big as the SIP why not put two blocks on there at once. I was able to get the 258 engine alongside the Willys L134 and both are setup perfect and both are ready for boring. I think I can clean up the L134 at .020" over and I have some .030" pistons for the 258.
A quick look at Travis Willys M38 engine and you can see the honing and piston fitting is finished and the engine is ready for washing and assembly.
