The uneducated think they understand PEDs but they have zero idea. There is legal supplements that give bigger boosts then some PEDs. Its largely the negative effects that put them in the spotlight often times, and get them banned.

To be fair, Ken was also much older than most of his opponents for over half of his career. Ken was 38 years old when he fist fought Tito while Tito had just turned 27 years old. In fact, Ken had more losses in his career after 40 than he had before, it's just that MMA was just really starting to take off right around the time Ken was turning 40. I'm sure Ken was making FAR more money towards the end of his career so it made business sense to just keep fighting. But before the age of 40, Ken had a very impressive record but it's hard to develop new skills over the age of 40 while in the twilight of your career. So, like you said, the sport passed him by, but that's not why he started losing, IMO. Father time caught up with Ken and Ken was still trying to compete with 20 year olds that were the elite in MMA at the time.
But Ken's losses in the UFC still stand the test of time. He lost to Royce, who won every fight he had in the UFC. Lost to Dan Severn, who was the current UFC Superfight champion. He lost to Tito right when Tito went on his record breaking Light Heavyweight title run. He lost to Rich Franklin right when Rich went on his title run and then lost to Tito again while Tito was the #1 contender and fought for the title right after fighting Ken. None of Ken's UFC losses were to garbage fighters.

I have always had amazing genetics for muscle building and strength, so I sometimes judge people harshly when they're on PEDS and have no muscle. I legitimately think I had more muscle than Chael at like 16, and that's not an insult to Chael, but I think it's true. I know the arms thing is a funny joke or something. The guy is actually on PEDS though, which is surprising. He likely just doesn't lift. A lot of guys are on PEDS, but not all of them lift and care about muscle. He's saying that steroid use is a science not an art. Him and the lion's den guys were more attune to what pro wrestlers would use, which itself was usually from what body builders would use. While it may make you look good, in reality it wasn't really that great for athletic use. Tito, if he was on something, was clearly better educated on it.

And what part of my comment gave that brain cell of yours the idea that I’m against them all being juiced up ??? I want every god damn athlete under the sun to be jacked up on shit. Baseball was a lot better when guys were jacked. Same goes for MMA. What I don’t like is clowns like rampage wanting to keep sweeping it under the rug. But making it seem like he doesn’t want the legend to be disrespected. When in actuality, a true real legend will have no problems talking about it. So respect to shamrock for being very upfront about it.
